The cloak is most important, it's basically the reason everyone believes that rangers are magical. Trust the cloak- one of the most important rules a ranger learns. It keeps them hidden and secret. There are different versions of the cloak for winter and deserts.
The necklace is the sign of a ranger. Silver= apprentice, bronze= full-fledged, gold=retired.

*3- Only females carry a sling and shots, some less physically built for bows. It's easier for a female to use a sling than a bow because they might not have the strength.
"An archer practices until he always gets its right. A ranger practices until he never gets it wrong."
They train so hard and non-stop, every ranger can shoot without seeming to aim and shoot with almost unearthly precision. They can, of course, make mistakes- but they are known not to.
Extra
Horses: A ranger is given a special, wonderful horse. Almost all rangers speak with their horses, although they never speak about it or admit it. They're shaggy and small, really unintimidating at first but they're some of the best horses in the kingdom.
Healing: All rangers carry a fairly large supply of medical aid and are trained to use it al. While they aren't doctors, they can help treat basic wounds.
Tactics and Navigation: Along with healing, rangers are taught strategy and navigation. They are incredibly clever and some of the best tacticians in the kingdom.
