Gavin's POV

I Stormed up the stairs and walked into my room slamming the door shut behind me

"Gavin Reed what have I said about slamming doors!!" My mother shouted up to me

I just mimicked her and threw my school bag onto the floor by my wardrobe, I took off my scuffed converses and sighed flopping down onto my bed. I pulled my phone out my pocket and frowned, dad still hasn't tried to call me.

My parents got into a huge argument about a month ago and dad ran off without a word. He's an asshole anyway, I'm glad he's gone.

"Gavin! Dinner!"

I sat up and ran downstairs sitting at the table, my mother set down the food in-front of me and smiled.

"Thankyou Mum" I smiled back and started to eat my food

"Gavin remember, after dinner our new android is arriving. They'll help you in particular with school work so please be respectful"

I just rolled my eyes and continued to messily eat my food, once I finished eating my food I wiped my face with the sleeve of my jumper and ran back upstairs into my bedroom.

I was laying on my bed watching YouTube before I heard a knock at my bedroom door, I sat up and turned my phone off.

"Come in"

The door opened and a tall boy around my age walked in, he had bright icy blue eyes and dark brown hair that was neatly combed back. He had some books in his hands and he smiled at me.

"Gavin, is it?" He asked

"Yeah... who's asking?" I folded my arms and gazed at him

"U....uh I'm.... N....Nines"

He seemed nervous all of a sudden and a sudden yellow flash shone from the side of his right temple, I sighed

"They make android teens now?"

Nines nodded and he hesitantly sat on the end of my bed

"I'm here to help you with school work"

"Oh right" I nodded

I stood up and walked over to my school bag and got out some of my books and passed them to Nines, he smiled slightly. He read through my books and I admired him, taking in all his perfect features.

He looked at me and smiled again

"Gavin? Are you ok"

I nodded "y...yeah why'd you ask?"

"Your blushing" he chuckled softly

I blushed more and put my face in my hands

"Your kinda cute when you blush" he smiled

I took my hands away from my face and just glared at him again "Just help me study" I snarled

Nines nodded his head and he sat on the floor, I got off my bed and sat next to him.

"What test should we study for first?" Nines smiled

"Uh.... chemistry, I'm pretty good at that I guess"

Nines nodded and his LED flashed blue, he handed me my chemistry book and then he opened one of his own.

"Ok so let's start on atoms" he smiled

I nodded my head, he went through atoms and molecules with me until late at night. I could feel my eyes becoming heavy as I payed less attention to what he was saying as I just admired him.

Nines shut the book he was reading from and he smiled at Gavin who was clearly almost asleep, Nines stood up and carefully picked up the smaller boy. He then tucked Gavin into the covers but was pulled down ontop of him, Gavin smiled and Nines gazed down into his grey eyes.

I gazed back into Nines' blue eyes and leant up kissing him softly.

Nines blushed and kissed Gavin back caressing his cheek, he then backed away from the kiss and smiled

"Goodnight Gavin"

"Night tin can"
