Harper's POV "What do you mean not attracted to anyone?" I ask Libby, unsure what that meant. She shrugged and I thought of what to say. "So.. you're just incapable of liking someone? What does that mean?" She sighed and looked down as if she were ashamed.
"It means... well- it's like... I don't know..." I took Libby's hand and reassured her that it was okay and I was there for her and I would never judge her. "I just... I don't fall in love. Well, it's more like I can't fall in love. I don't have romantic attraction to anyone. Its hard to explain..."
I leaned in and hugged her. When I started to hear Libby sniffle I pulled back and made a joke to lighten the mood. "Hey, at least now I know I don't have to worry about having a crush on the same person as you."
She smiled and wiped her runny nose with her ice cream napkin. "Yeah." We sat on the bench and giggled at each other for a minute or two while people passed by us.
"Do you want to go shopping?" I asked Libby. "I have enough money for both of us to get something cheap." She nodded and I got up and raced her to the clothing store across from us. "Last one there is a rotten egg!"

After almost 20 minutes of gawking around the store, Libby finally found a sweater she wanted.

"Lib, it's summer. You're gonna burn up in that thing." I explain to her but she ignores me.
"Hey! Look!" She pulled my arm and showed me a pair of jeans. "These would look great on you!" I roll my eyes and continue looking. "No, really! I think you'd like em!"

I sighed and snatched the jeans from her hand. "Fine, but only to make you stop screaming." She smiled at me and shoved me into the changing room.
I closed the curtains and turned around at the mirror. Sigh. I look absolutely horrible. My original pants I was wearing got tugged off and then I pulled on the new pair. "Gross..." I whispered to myself before turning around. "Why do I look bad in everything I wear..?" Well, it hides my most of my legs, so that's a plus.
