Chapter 22 - Photo Album

Francis' POV

I just got home with my dad. It was a tiring day. Nagpasyal-pasyal kami, talked about businesses and other stuffs. He even said that when I finish my studies, he would like to hand over the business to me. Our company. He did a very good job handling it. I was shocked when he said he wants me to continue the business. 

I went into the kitchen and drank a glass of cold water. I passed by Drake and Ate Audrey at the dining table. Bigla kong naibuga ang iniinom ko when I heard him saying

"--- and her name was Ella." Drake

Ella? As in,  Ella Cruz? He met her already? !@#$^&* No freaking way! How?!

Lemme guess, at the mall. I heard Drake saying that he will be going to the mall, and I told Ella that our 'date' will be canceled. So it is possible that they could have met.

I sat on a sofa in the living room. I pretended that I couldn't hear them by putting one earphone in my ear while the other is not. Actually, my music player is not even on. I tried to listen what they are talking about.

"Ah, si Ella! I really like her for Francis. Bagay na bagay nga sila e! Wait, since super magkamuka kayo, baka bagay rin kayo! Hehe!" Ate Audrey. Sila, bagay?! No. Ako lang ang bagay kay Ella. 

"Hmm.. She's pretty. Are you sure hindi pa sila ni Ancis? Or any feelings towards each other?" Drake asked

"Sa kakaalam ko, hindi pa e. Pero feelings towards each other? Siguro. Parang. Ewan. Pero, I can sense na that they like each other e." Ate Audrey

"I see"

"Ba't parang interesado ka sa relasyon nilang dalawa? Don't tell me, pati ikaw may gusto na rin kay Ella ha!"

"I'm just.. curious okay? Sige, wala ng tanong tugkol sakanila. Ikaw naman, kamusta naman kayo ni Kuya John? Hahaha!"

Inaasar na ni Drake si Ate tungkol sa crush ni Ate. Since I am not that even interested about the conversation anymore, umakyat na ako sa kwarto ko and by my surprise, may isang malaki na maleta dito. What is this thing doing here?

"Nak" mom came in

"Po? Kanino ba to?" sabi ko sabay turo sa maleta

"Kay Drake yan. Sinabi ko sakanya na dito nalang siya matulog. Maluwag naman ang kwarto mo kaya ok lang kung diyan siya matutulog"

"Ano?! Pero--"

"No buts. You two need to get along with each other. Kailangan niyo na magbati. Sulitin niyo na ang stay niya dito, at hindi natin alam kung kelan pa siya babalik dito. You guys should spend more time together. Iwasan niyo mag away o maging cold to one another."

"Fine"

Just great! Three months being with him, at na sa iisang kwarto pa kami!

May balita daw na may pop quiz kami para sa Maths. Kahit madali lang yun, nag review parin ako. Gusto ko kasi mag perfect score. Aba, sino bang hindi?

"Ikaw!!" 

"Ay area-of-a-circle!!" ayan, na mali-mali tuloy ako
