Chapter 23 - Halloween

Francis' POV

Weeks passed by and our school is having a Halloween party this Friday. Students are currently decorating the classrooms themed Halloween. There will also be games and competitions where all the sophomores are in charge of. We, the Juniors, will be in charge of the games.

Our section will be putting up a Horror House. The Horror House will be at our classroom, since our classroom is quite big. Ghosts, monsters and actors will be our classmates, while the five of us will only be in charge of the decorations.

"Excited na talaga ako!" Ella

"Ako din!" Chloe

"Sige nga, baka malaman ko, takot kayo sa mumu!" Boyd

"Hahah oo nga! Baka gawin niyo pa kaming hugging tool.." Ako

"Asa kayo dyan. Hindi kami takot sa mumu" Chloe

"Sinong takot sa mumu?" Jeff came out of nowhere

"Baka ikaw?" pabirong tanong ni Ella kay Jeff

"Ako?! I have no fears" Jeff

"Maniwala ako dyan!" Ella paused, "Ayy! Ipis oh!" Sabay turo sa sahig

"SAAN?!!" Jeff jumped

"HAHAHAHAH!!"

"Wala daw!"

"Very funny.." Jeff said in a sarcastic tone

"very funny talaga!" Chloe

Ella's POV

[ Friday, 31st OCTOBER ]

It's 2 pm and we are finishing up the decorations. Our Horror House is ready to scare people.

Everyone went home and changed into their costumes. My costume is Bat Girl, ang cute ko tignan, hehehe..

Ano kaya ang costumes nila?

It's 6:30 pm and everyone is coming.. I cant even recognise them with their costumes. I dialled Chloe and she said she's wearing a 'Queen of Hearts' from Alice in Wonderland, costume. I searched for her when I saw her chatting with Frankenstein. That must be Boy--- Francis?! Okay, i was just shocked xD He looks like the real thing.

Boyd in a Dracula costume and Jeff in a mummy costume came to the picture. The boys look, scary, tbh.

Our Horror House is all set! We dimmed the classroom and the only light was there was from the glow-in-the-dark decorations and lanterns. The five of us entered the Horror House.

We entered the house. I was having goosebumps as I stepped inside. I feel like there was a soft wind blown onto my neck. I was holding Francis' hand the whole time, but i suddenly let it go when somthing clamped my leg, which made me scream

"AAAACCKKK!"

I shook by leg so that that 'something' is removed from my leg. I felt so relieved that it is finally gone. I ran quickly to get out of there

The house was dark, and only lights from the lanterns can be seen.

"Francis? Chloe?" I knew that I was already alone after I let his hands go. Now, I start to feel scared.

At some part of the house, three monsters shouted at my face, which made me start to cry.

"HUWAAAA!!"

"Wag poooo! Wag niyo po ko kainin!" I ran quickly but every place I go, monsters and ghosts kept on scaring me. There were even devils who tried to pull me.

"Ellaaaaahhhhhh..... ditooo~~ Hik! Hik! hik!" That sounded like a witch. But I dont care, all I want is to get out of this house sooner.

"Ella! Nasaan ka? Ella!" That voice....

"Francis!!! Nandito ako! Tulong! Waaaa!!"

"Ella! Nandyan ka pala!" I hugged him. I am just too scared.

"Fraann hik! Cis... Alis na tayo.. Hik! Ayoko na dito... Huhuh"

"Tahan na...Sige, nasa labas na silang tatlo"

We got out from the House. FINALLY!

"Oh, bakit ka umiiyak?" Chloe hugged me

"Sabi ko sainyo eh, takot yan sa mumu"

"Mas mabuti pang kumain muna tayo. Nagugutom na yan, kaya umiyak"

"Sige, nagugutom narin ako" Boyd

During the dinner, there was a best costume competition.

And guess what, nanalo si Chloe for female's category! Wow!

There is also a dance party. Pinatugtog ang Break free by Ariana Grande which makes all of us dance and jump xD We danced and danced crazily until the song was changed into a mellow tune. Leave Your Lover by Sam Smith was played.

"Can I have this dance, Bat Girl?"

"Sure, Frankenstein" we danced to the music. The music is very soothing, i felt a bit relaxed after all the drama I made just now.

"Francis?"

"Hmm?"

"Pwede bang mag gala tayong lahat pero..."

"Ano yun?"

"Samahan natin si Drake"
