Chapter 22... Finding The Perfect Plan

Any later and I would have died. You thought as you sat up. Your head was still swimming. Being close to death like that was a new experience. It was one you would never want to go through again.
"I guess I should thank you guys for saving me." Ruthie said. She rubbed her temples. "This feels really similar to when I tried having an outer body experience for the first time."
"You've did that on purpose?" You asked. She nodded. "It was not as fun as you may think." She stood up. "Anyway we should help your friend. We've wasted too much time already."
You looked at the broken portion bottle.
"But the potion."
She pulled out the one in her pocket. "Always make extra. Once he's saved I hope you get the ass that just tried to kill us."
"You can bet on it Ruth. Let's hurry." You guys raced to the front. "What happened? What took you guys so long?" Junmyeon asked.
"We almost died. Back up so I can give him the cure." Ruth lifted Kyungsoo's head. You opened his mouth. "Down it goes." You poured it down his throat. She laid his head back down. "So how long will it-"
Kyungsoo jumped up gasping.
"Ah!" Baekhyun screamed. He help his chest and mumbled, "Seriously…"
"Kyungsoo!" You hugged him. He looked around bewildered as he hugged you back. "(Y/n)? Junmyeon, Baekhyun. Where am I? How'd I get here? What's going on?"
"We'll answer all your questions later. We really need to plan out our next moves and save our crazy ass pack members."
"But (Y/n), those aren't our members."
"I know it sounds crazy but when they took us camping they poisoned everyone. I saw a different version of the pack come through a portal. They looked like us but you could just feel the evil. I ran into the woods but was then ambushed by well… me."
"You?"
"Yes it was like a really evil version of me. He tried to kill me. I don't know why he didn't."
"We'll find them and you can get your revenge, how does that sound?"
"Go up against him?  I don't know. He was strong, fast and did not hold back in the slightest bit."
"Then you won't hold back either."
"Okay." He agreed but you could hear the tremble in his voice. Had the evil Kyungsoo been that bad?
"Come on. We should hurry up and go." Said Minseok.
"Before you guys go, you should work out your plan here. It's safe."
"Good idea Ruthie thank you."
"No problem. I'll strengthen the protection charms and make sure that no one can get in this time. If I had done it last week like my mother had warned me too, we wouldn't have been ambushed."
"You wouldn't have been ambushed if our problems wouldn't have some how followed us."
"True." She nodded in agreement. "I'll be in the back. Would you guys like tea? I'll make some."
"Yes please and maybe some snacks?"
Everyone looked at Baekhyun. "It's for Kyungsoo! He hasn't eaten in awhile and we all need to be strong."
You rolled your eyes. "Hidden agenda or not, he's right."
"I'll order take out then. Let's go to the back it's more comfortable there." She pulled down the blinds on the front windows, locked the door and turned the open signed to closed. "I love closing early on slow days~" She sang.

The Chinese take out and pizza had arrived after you guys helped Ruth clean up her back room. A few glass shard cuts later, everyone was sitting around with food and drinks. For a second it felt like old times but the absence of the other members could be felt. You guys planned out your attack. It was a good plan and it could work if everyone did their part right.

"If everything goes right and we trick them in to opening that portal we'll be able to cross over." "Hopefully it'll work but (y/n) have you been able to use your powers?" Minseok asked. You sighed shaking your head.
"It's just gone."
"You'll be targeted if you don't have powers."
"Hey what if I help you out with that?" Asked Ruthie. You raised an eyebrow at her. "I know I could do something to get your powers back going. What is your powers?"
"I can copy the powers of others."
"Really? Cool?"
"Yeah it was until it disappeared."
Ruth thought for a moment.
"Have you brought anyone back from the dead lately?"
I blinked and slightly shook my head "Uh… no?"
"You sure? As a witch I know that one way someone as powerful as you and can lose their powers, is by bringing the dead to life. You give up your powers to reanimate the dead person. Kind of like giving up your soul and suffering for it later."
"I haven't done-" you thought back to your dream about Jongdae

"My power I give if need be, for you I give up part of me."
"Jongdae?"
"Call me Chen."

"Oh no. Do dreams count?"
"Only if they're not really dreams. If done right a sleeping person can be taken to the astral plane and the astral plane cane be manipulated into looking like a dream. It's hard to do but it can happen."
"How?"
"By a spirit that's been there for a long time. It's easier with the help of someone that's still alive."
"I guess I really did give up my powers to bring Jongdae back to life or his evil twin I guess."
"If that's the case then you'll have to get them back from him. I'll go make a potion that'll pull the power right out of him. All you'll have to do is throw it at him."
"Harder than it sounds."
"Everything always is." She said as she got up.
