Dinner. You guys celebrate being alive with dinner. You and Kyungsoo along with Chanyeol, fixed a celebration dinner. Everyone's favorite dish was made. You were proud of yourself. You didn't let the cracked rib you were hiding from everyone stop you from making something that made everyone happy.
"We're all still a little beat up from the fight but we've gotten to rest and wind down." Kris stood at the head of the table. A glass of champagne in his hand. "We can put this mess behind us now."
"Sure" Tao chimed in "after we go to therapy for the rest of our lives."
"I know it's not going to be easy getting over everything but if it wasn't for (y/n) hearing me when I called out for help, none of us would be okay or alive right now." He gestured to you. "Thank you (y/n). You saved our asses" he raised his glass. "To our first victory against a threat that could have killed us all and to (y/n) for keeping everyone in line." You smiled. Chanyeol and Jongdae looked at each other.
"What?" You asked.
"Not to be a party pooper but a few of us were poisoned during a toast."
"On the camping trip that's right." Baekhyun chuckled. "We didn't poison the drinks."
"I know but I'm still uncomfortable drinking it."
"That's fine Chanyeol." You sipped from your glass. You stood to do your own toast. You looked around the table. "I don't think I've ever been so happy to see you guys. I feel like a 50 pound weight has been lifted from my shoulders. No matter what I'm even more happy that I wasn't alone. Junmyeon, Minseok, Yixing, Baek, you guys were so much help. I survived because you guys had my back. We all went through hell but we made it to the end and now we can go back to living our lives like before."
"Hell yeah!" Baekhyun yelled. "We can be normal again. I'm all for the brightness and joy in this room right now. I feel like I'm gonna smother from everyone's happiness. I love it!" You smiled. Everything's back to normal and so is everyone.
