'Jasmine...can i sleep at your house just for tonight?' Ivy texted since calling her would be no use. 'Let me ask my aunt...' Jasmine replied. After a while, another notification appeared at Ivy's phone. 'yes you can. Here's the address : *******'
Ivy sighed in relief as she walked to the train station. Her arm was still bleeding and her cheek was stinging but she chose to prioritize getting to Jasmine's house first as it was getting dark and dangerous. Once she finally made it to the train station , she took a train and went off the train after 1 stop.
"this is her house...? It looks really comfy." Ivy said as she gaped when she saw Jasmine's house. It was a 2 story house and it looked very nice and comfortable. She rang the bell to the house and Jasmine opened the door looking worried.
'What happened?' she mouthed. "I'll tell you the details inside, is that okay?" Ivy asked as Ivy nod. Both of them went inside and sat in the living room as Ivy told the story of her abusive mother.
"your mother turned abusive towards you because your father protected you in a car accident and lost his life? And she doesn't allow you to dance because your father was a dancer and it reminds her of the traumatic past?" Jasmine wrote on her white board that she has at home. Ivy nodded as Jasmine took Ivy into a friendly hug.
'you can stay here for as long as you want. Me and my aunt loves having company.' Jasmine wrote again after pulling away from the hug. "Thank you ! Oh Jasmine, do you have any bandages , i have a wound you see." Jasmine chuckled awkwardly as she showed her arm which was bleeding a bit. Jasmine widened her eyes as she ran to get the first aid kit that she had in one of her drawers.
"Thanks , i'll just go wash the wound first." Ivy said as she went to the bathroom with the first aid kit and washed the wound. It was stinging and painful but Ivy tried her best to not let out a scream. Once she's done, she put on some antibiotic and finally covered it up with a bandage.
"I'm done." Ivy said as she walked to the living room again and handed Jasmine the first aid kit. 'Are you hungry?' Jasmine wrote. "No, I'm fine." Ivy reassure. 'Then , let's go to our room.' Jasmine wrote again as Ivy nodded. Both of them went to the room and Ivy took a quick shower making sure to not make the bandage wet.
When she was finished, she sat on Jasmine's bed along with Jasmine who was writing something on her board. 'Why do you still dance even though your mom hates it?' It read. Ivy smiled sincerely thinking of an answer.
"I wanted to proof to my mom that dancing is beautiful and you shouldn't be traumatic about it. That everyone can dance freely whether they're talented or not." Ivy said. "Then , why do you play the piano , Jasmine?" Ivy asked.
Jasmine hesitated to write on the board for a while but finally gave in. She wrote slowly this time and erased the board a few times. But finally, she gave an answer.
'I don't know' it wrote.
