"Can you play it a bit slower?" Ivy asked as Jasmine nodded. They were in Jasmine's music room , practicing for the competition. Jasmine was trying to remember all the notes as Ivy tried to learn the dance moves. She wanted to put all her emotions to this dance. Her tiredness , happiness and her passion. She wanted everyone to know how she felt.
Jasmine too was trying her best to put all her feelings to the piano. How she awfully missed her dear parents , how she was grateful on being friends with Ivy and how she wanted to find a reason on playing the piano.
Un sospiro also known of A sigh.
A beautiful calming melody that transitions from the feeling of calm and softness to one's frustration.
It was perfect for the both of them.
Ivy showed her frustration towards her own mother and Jasmine showed her frustration towards her for being so lost all this time.
But Un Sospiro was a piece that transitions again to the feeling of hope. A hope that can be shown through the music.
"Phew...let's rest for awhile , Jasmine. You did a good job on the piano." Ivy smiled as Jasmine thanked her through gestures. "Man, i'm not even halfway through the song." Ivy sighed.
'but your dances were beautiful. It's really emotional.' Jasmine wrote. "Thank you." Ivy grinned. "Alright i've had enough rest ! I'm gonna continue dancing. Just take a rest , i'll dance without the music." Ivy said as she stood up.
Jasmine was about to reach out to Ivy but before she could do that , Ivy had ran to the middle of the room and dance. "she really put a lot of effort into this competition..." Jasmine thought as she stared at Ivy in awe.
In the middle of Ivy's dance, unknowingly , Jasmine stood up and went to the piano and started to play the part where Ivy was dancing to. Ivy looked surprise as she stopped dancing for a while but finally went with the flow and danced anyways.
they were so focused on their emotions that they didn't realize that Jasmine's aunty was watching the entire time. She was teary, touched from all the emotions filling the room.
"so this is how both of you felt all this time..." she whispered.
