They practiced for 2 weeks and a week was left till the competition, along with Jasmine's birthday. Ivy had planned a birthday present for her dear best friend but now, was about the competition.

She wanted to proof her mother on how she felt with the dance. So she decided to invite her to the competition. But , she didn't want to talk to her personally so she made a letter and decided to leave it in front of the door.

She took the letter in her hand and fiddled with her fingers while she walks to her house. She was nervous on how will her mother react to the letter. It was a short letter. But she spent all night trying to figure out what to say.

Finally , there she stood just 1 step away from the doorstep. She took a deep breath , put the letter on the doorstep , knock the door thrice and ran away. The door opened for awhile and then the door closed. Ivy took a peak from behind the short fence and saw that the letter was gone. She sighed in relief as her mother had taken the letter. Now , she only hoped that her mother would read it.

Meanwhile, on her mother's perspective, she tear open the letter gently and took out the sheet of paper from the envelope.

'I know you don't want to talk to me but,

I hope you show up to my contest. I'll proof to you that dancing is beautiful and there is nothing to be afraid of.

Please show up. This is my last wish.

If i fail to impress you or the audience, I will stop dancing.
