they cancelled the meetings for that week, not wanting to do anything until they knew why namjoon left the band. why he left them.

when they found out that namjoon left and they didn't get anything from hitman bang because namjoon didn't tell him anything himself, they went back home and saw that his keys were there and it didn't seem like he was planning on leaving because he left everything there. his ryan collectibles and his koya dolls were still there. namjoon could leave his clothes behind, but he couldn't leave those collectibles, them meaning everything to him.

yoongi was the one who called namjoon's mother. she didn't hear from namjoon in a month, something that was weird because namjoon was a mama's boy. he'd call her every day if he could and he was currently in the process of paying off the rest of her mortgage. yoongi reassured her that he would call back as soon as he found out anything about her son. that was five days ago. right now, he and jimin were looking at possible hotels that namjoon could be spending his nights in. hoseok and jin were checking around places where namjoon hung out a lot and his friend's house. taehyung and jungkook were waiting where namjoon would spend most of his time at. (taehyung didn't want namjoon to feel betrayed if he was there, seeing as this was his most private place).

they were in the process of waiting in line to check to see if namjoon was at this hotel when the messages came. yoongi's phone buzzed as did jimin's and yoongi's heart skipped a bit, wondering if this was the other males telling them that they had namjoon. yoongi pulled out his phone and his heart plummeted as he read the message on the screen.

"hyung..." jimin's voice trailed off and he looked up to see jimin's screen with a message on it and tears in his eyes.

"holy shit."

across the town, jin and hoseok read their messages at lightning speed and as hoseok was calling yoongi, jin was calling taehyung.

taehyung picked up the phone as he and jungkook were running, not even reading the entire message before springing into action. jungkook was the one who spotted him and sprinted off as taehyung swore and ran after him.

"hyung, namjoon-hyung is going to--"

"we know. please tell me you have him." tae nodded his head.

"we are trying to stop him. i'm afraid that we will be too late. hyung, i'm scared."

jungkook called out namjoon's name as he reached the railing. it was just in the nick of time as namjoon decided to walk off the edge of the bridge, jungkook grabbed his shirt and quickly positioned to put his arms underneath the armpits. tae pocketed his phone as he made his way to where the other two were. going underneath namjoon's arm, he helped jungkook pull namjoon up, seeing as he didn't weigh as much as he should.

tae heard jin's screams and he put the phone back to his ears. "he's with us hyung. we on the bridge at the han river."

taehyung looked over where jungkook had namjoon in his arms, not allowing the thrashing boy to do what he wanted to do.

tae looked at his hyung and how tired he was. he had bags underneath his eyes and the clothes he wore was the same clothes that he wore six days ago before he decided to leave the band. and his shirt was bloodied up. he seemed like he was limping on the leg with the sprained ankle. his crutches weren't anywhere near him. his hair was thinner which was saying something because of the fact that they constantly dye their hair.

namjoon was screaming. he begged jungkook to let him go. punching him, namjoon cried out. "let me go! listen to me. i'm older than you. let me go! i want to die!" tae knew that he wanted to die, with the scene unfolding in front of him. but it's one thing to know it and another to actually hear the words out loud.
