NOT MY BEST CHAPTER. I AM SORRY.
Previously on Love, Elliot: Without a second thought, I walked past the police officers and started my car.
He was watching me with a smirk on his face.
I don't know where I was going. I just kept driving. I tried calming myself by putting on some music, but it was no use. Every thought I had, every suspicion I had led me back to Elliot. That dweeb.
I stopped at a gas station which surprised me that it was still open. I paid the guy his money, and made a quick stop to 7-Eleven. Counting my pennies, I had enough to buy instant noodles and a soda. Should've brought my wallet.
'Excuse me miss, do you have some spare change?', I noticed the white bearded cashier moving his lips gently.
'Um..no. I'm sorry I don't.'
Oh no. I forgot to buy gelatin.
Claudia's birthday is next week, and since I am the queen of baking, I'm gonna treat her to an amazing birthday cake.
'Baby, you're disrupting the entire store! have some respect for yourself and for others too', someone half-screamed.
That sounds familiar.
I turned around and was met by a woman who looked a lot like...like my mom.
'Mom?', I spoke loudly.
The lady turned around in a heartbeat.
'Kathy? Kathy! It's so nice to meet you! Where have you been? It's been so long since we've met!', she kept on blabbering without ever letting me speak.
'Um..hi. H-how do you know me?'
'Oh silly, I'm your aunt Veronica! Don't you remember me?'
Oh yeah I do. From my dad. Who told me to keep my distance from you.
'Ohh. Yes, I do remember you Aunt Veronica. I've just been where I was. What about you?'
'Oh honey, it could be lovely to catch up soon. After Jonah died, you and I have barely talked to each other. She didn't live that of a long age did she?', she smirked at the end.
I could not believe this woman.
'Yes. She didn't. At least she'll be safe to know that she's gonna go to heaven, unlike you' I said which faded her hideous smirk right then and there.
'Well, goodbye Aunt Veronica! It was lovely meeting you. And you're right we should catch up soon. Right?'
With that, I left and drove home. Sigh.

the next one will be better. Please stay tuned.
