Bullies

Warning this chapter includes some violence.

Today, I came back to my room only to find a steaming Melody, blocking the doorway. 

"Emily, we need to talk," she says through gritted teeth, dragging me to the school canteen. When we get there, Jim, an african couple and a boy with black hair are waiting for us. Melody kicks the back of my knees so I fall on them. Jim walks over and kneels down next to me.

"You worthless, piece of junk nerd," he shouts, so loud I think I'm going to go deaf;"why should you even exist? You are ugly!" Jim gets up and the african couple come over. The boy starts slapping my face hard, I know my cheeks are going to be bright red afterwards. The girl helps me stand up after her boyfriend has put out all his anger on me but instead of helping me, she starts using me as a human punching bag. After the fifth punch to the stomach, second punch to the face and fourth punch to the legs, I am covered in bruises. 

The black haired boy walks over to me. He pulls out a knife. I run. I lose them for a bit then run to Belle's room. She answers it and I tell her 

"Grab your phone and call the others plus boyfriends and Milo's girlfriend and meet me at the canteen." She immediatly gets out her phone and starts texting. I run, knowing if I stay with Belle too long, they will find me. I quickly run to my room and knock. Wendy comes out, sees me panting, grabs her phone and I lead her on a long route to the canteen. Whilst we run, she texts. When we get to the canteen, Eilonwy, Taran and Wendy's other friends are already there. They see us, panting and out of breath, and are totally confused.

They are about to ask when there is a bang and the gang come out. They have gone to get reinforcements too. Now it is Jim, Melody, knife guy, the african couple, an indian couple and a smaller boy that looks similliar to knife guy so I assume they are brothers.

 "I though we had some unfinished bussiness to deal with, Emily," Melody snickers.

"And what am I? A roach?" Taran calls. Melody looks at him, her eyes widening like golfballs. She glares at Eilonwy but still stares at Taran. I don't know what on earth is happening.

"I....I...," she stammers. She regains. 

"I'm not going to get distracted by such little detail," Melody says, shaking her head. 

"Not if I can help it,"a male voice calls. The doors open and the reading club are there with their boyfriends/girlfriend. Two boys have brown hair, another black, one ginger-head and the girl white. The boy with black hair comes forward.

"Now cousin, don't you think this is a little too far? I mean, you have been like this for only a year. But I am not letting you hurt my friend and that is final!" He shouts, putting his arm in front of me protectivly. I think it is Eric because he called Melody "cousin". Jim glares at him.

"Since when have you started liking pieces of junk?" Melody smirks.

"She is not a piece of junk!" Belle shouts.

"She is a hardworking, respective, polite girl who cares for others. Why can't you be like her?" Jane asks, mad as. Wow, I have some really good friends.

"Lies! Lies I say! She is so self-centred that I was trying to protect my friends," Melody argues. I remember from the list that I can't argue with her so I don't say anything. Neither does Wendy. That's when the boys get really mad. Milo walks to Melody and Jim and picks them off their feet by their shirt, the ginger head does the same to the african couple, brown-haired boy 1 ( I am seriously going to have to ask names afterwards) the indian couple and brown-haired boy 2 knife guy and his brother.

"Look, if you lay a hand on Emily again, you will immediatly regret it. So don't. Also, she is our friend so you cannot take us away from her. Understood?" Milo asks, threatining. The bullies nod their heads. The boys put them down and they run away. I hug Eric and thank everyone for helping me. Tears roll down my eyes. What they did was horrible and no one should experience it. The others introduce their boyfriends. The ginger head is Adam, and the browns are Tarzan and Eugene. Kida is Milo's girlfriend with white hair. Voices start to fade as my vision gets blurry. "Hold in there, Emily," Eric's voice says, before the darkness consumes me.
