Friends?

Since the fire, Tadashi and Hiro have made friends with my friends. We've learnt they are both robot freaks and have even made their own. It's so cool.

Anyways, today we were sitting at a table, chatting. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Mowgli, Shanti, Aladdin and Jasmine staring at our table, each with the same sad look on their face. I nudge Belle, who is siting next to me, and gesture towards them. She nods approvingly and I smirk. I turn fully around and wave to them. All four of them wave back and I turn back to the table. I see each of them pick up their tray and start moving towards us. I get up and wait for them to come to the table.

"Hi, I'm Emily if you didn't already know. Would you like to sit with me and my friends?" I ask, being super polite. As they think, I say

"You don't have to say yes. You can say no if you like. I really don't mind." 

"I think we all would like to Emily," Aladdin says, speaking up.

"Well, there's plenty of room. Come take a seat," I say, chearfully. To be honest, they probably think I'm crazy since they were the ones that bullied me but it's nice to be polite so that's what I'm doing.

"So are any of you in a after-school-club?" I ask, trying to lighten the awkward tension. The four of them look at me with curiosity .

"Can we talk to you alone Emily?" Shanti asks. I already know Eric will be giving them the death glare but I reply by saying I will and the four of them, Hiro, Tadashi and I go to an empty hallway.

"Look, Emily when we were bullying you, we didn't want to. The six of us would have immediatly declined if we could," Mowgli says, his head hung low. The others nod.

"But Melody didn't want to do this by herself. She wanted to look powerful so she dragged us into it all," Jasmine continues.

"She threatened to make our lives miserable if we didn't say yes. Really miserable," Tadashi says. Something wasn't right.

"So if she would make your lives miserable, why are you doing it now?" I ask, confused. They all smile.

"When you saved Tadashi, we all knew you had what it would take to step up to Melody. With you by our side, we can totally bring the real her back," Hiro exclaimed, determination written all over his face.

"So you do know about Taran?" I question. They all nod.

"Look, I can't make any promises but I will try to get her back. And no, I am not that mean that I will do it through physical force. I will do it a different way, though I don't know which way yet. But I will try, I promise," I say. I really want things to be right.

"Friends?" Aladdin asks, his right hand out.

"Friends," I say almost immediatly, shaking his hand. All 6 of them start acting like kids at a party, super excited. Tadashi gives me a hug and I return the embrace.

"You have no idea how long we have waited for this moment to happen," Tadashi says, almost tearing up at the spectacular scene. I look up at him (since he is in Grade 10 and taller than me) and smile. It feels great to help others be happy. Once everyone has settled down, we all go back to my friends. Eric has his knuckles on the table, ready to punch if nessecary. He looks at me then opens his hand, realising not being needed.

"We have some new recruits everyone," I say, grinning. Rapunzel immediatly takes Jasmine by the arm and starts to pester her with fashion questions. Eugene gives some advice to Mowgli and Aladdin about girls, to which I roll my eyes. Boys. Hiro starts to talk to Adam, who is good at designing. I walk back to my spot next to Belle and an empty spot. Tadashi comes over and intertwines his hand into mine. I blush at the action but don't let go. Tadashi seems to be taking a liking to me but I don't mind. I like him as well. Guess I won't be in the singles club with Tink and Alice for much longer.
