"You really set this all up huh?" Nari asked Yukhei. She was staring at a picnic table full of food. That kun, Taeyong and Jaemin probably helped him with. "It's cute."
"Aw thanks."
"What did you make us?"
"Um. Well it's what Kun, Jaemin and Taeyong made us actually." He rubbed the back of his neck and let out a laugh.
She rolled her eyes playfully and laughed along with him. "I knew it. And if I'm guessing, Kun made the dumplings and spring rolls, Taeyong made the kimchi and Sundubu-jjigae. Then Jaemin made hotteok."
"You're good at guessing who made what food."
"Yeah well, kun and Kaylie used to make me a lot of dumplings and spring rolls when was a kid. Taeyong makes the best kimchi and Jaemin makes really good hotteok."
The two are rather silently, he was nervous. Don't know why, he's does this more times than he can count.
Most would say that it was "god saying that they wouldn't get married."
Mayhaps, but they didn't believe in that bullshit. If the big guy up there didn't want them to get married, then he shouldn't have had them meet and have a kid together.

"I don't like how casual that was. I was planning something big, but this is also like our 5th time trying to propose to each other. But we keep ruining it for ourselves."
"And I love how it's casual. It just seems like us. It wouldn't be Normal for us to have a sentimental moment, our normal is having YangYang and Renjun fight over who's going to keep the next ring. We keep fucking up and that's okay, we wanted it to be special, and you know what? It is. Everything about this is special, only because I'm with you."

I don't know if this is an irrupt ending. But it genuinely felt right to end it here. I hope you got closure and a glimpse into Nari's life now. Now that it's officially over, I'm going to start working more on the stories I have prepared for this year.
