Within an hour of dad giving us our plane tickets we are walking into the local airport each of us carrying our own decent sized suitcase.

"Who's idea was it to pack 4 suitcases?" I over hear Curtis ask in an overly annoyed tone. I am assuming my sister yet again packed way too much for this type of trip.

"I have got to be prepared for anything My Love." Eva's voice is chirpy and persuasive.

"You couldn't have condensed it though Angel?"

"No." I can hear the smirk on her face and roll my eyes. I scan my eyes around the termonial trying to find exactly where we are supposed to be going. As I am looking around, my dad walks up beside me and nudges my arm.

"What's up dad?" I ask as I start walking in the direction of the area we are to be boarding in.

"How are you feeling?"

I shrug, "I am going to another country because my not-dead ex-guardian, doesn't want me to try and search for him and everyone is saying that this is the right thing to do. How do you think I am feeling?"

"Fair enough." He clears his throat awkwardly as he walks stiffly beside me.

"I'm sorry dad," I stop next to him so I can look at him, "I just, why me?" I stand staring at me father feeling defeated. "Why am I the one they want?"

"You are special Nilly-Bug."

"Right, 'special'." I mutter and start walking away from him. I can sense Michael following closely behind, careful not to get to close as I am sure he can sense my frustrations with my father. I reach the boarding area of the plan and take a seat in the waiting area. Michael sits down next to me on my right and Tara quickly does the same on my left.

"You know, after some consideration, and seeing as we are here in the airport..." Tara mutters from beside me sparking my interest I turn and look at her, "I am not so excited for this anymore." She scratches her head awkwardly as she smiles shyly at me. I chuckle and nudge her with my shoulder.

"Well, that is a shame, seeing as the only other one who seems excited is Eva, because she plans on spending the whole time planning her dream wedding." I smirk at Tara as she covers her laugh with a cough.

"Honestly though, Ni, aren't you nervous?"

"I am absolutely terrified." I quietly confide in my best friend. She nods softly and wraps her arm around my shoulder.

Together Tara and I board the plane, finding our seats rather easily. Tara quickly takes her place next to the window followed by Michael and then me with the aisle seat. Curtis sits across from me and leans into the aisle motioning for me to do the same.

"So I am not sure if you heard me last night, but I promise I won't tell anyone about what you said." Curtis looks around mostly motioning towards Michael, "However, some older brother advice, since I love you so much, I think you should tell them." I smile slightly at Curtis and look over at Michael.

"I did."

Curtis leans back in shock, "Oh, cool, so are you three good now?"

"How about we talk about it after we land and don't have prying ears?"

"Sounds good to me." Curtis squeezes my knee then pulls out a book to start reading. I lean back into my seat as well taking a deep breath, closing my eyes.

"Everything okay Ni?" Michael asks from beside me.

"More or less. I just have one question I want answered though." I respond.
