"Namjoon how about this one?" Hoseok asked as he pointed to a beautiful and expensive engagement ring that was on display. Namjoon made his way over to where Hoseok was to examine the ring the older was looking at.
Namjoon looked at the ring and frowned. It was beautiful, Namjoon wasn't going to lie, in fact, all of the rings in the jewelry shop were beautiful, it's just it didn't give him that feeling he wanted. The feeling that this was the ring he was going to give Seokjin when he proposed.
Namjoon shook his head and smiled softly. "No, it's not the one."
"Oh," Hoseok said, feeling a little sad at the fact that his friend had rejected his suggestion. "Well, what is the one?"
"I'm not really sure, to be honest," Namjoon said as he continued looking around, Hoseok following close behind him. "I'm not looking for a specific look, it's the feeling that it gives that I'm looking for."
Hoseok nodded at Namjoon's explanation. "So you're not all about the look then?"
Namjoon shook his head. "Looks change as time goes on, I'm all about the meaning and feeling that it will hold forever. Even if Seokjin and I ever part ways, the ring will hopefully always remind us of the love that use to keep us together."
"Wow, that's so sweet Namjoon," Hoseok said looking at his friend with awe. "You should be a writer."
Namjoon laughed and looked at Hoseok. "Aren't I already?"

"Why does this place not have any rings that are worth buying?" Seokjin exclaimed with frustration as he looked about the jewelry shop, a very annoyed and grumpy Yoongi behind him. "It's like all of them are the same. I don't want to propose to my boyfriend with a ring similar to one some rando will use to propose to his girlfriend."
"Seokjin, maybe if you spent more than five seconds to look at the rings you'll notice that all of them don't look the same," Yoongi said as he continued following Seokjin.
Seokjin came to an abrupt stop causing Yoongi to bump into his friend's back and send him stumbling back a bit. The older quickly turned around and looked at Yoongi with anger in his eyes. "I don't plan on spending more than five seconds on a ring I know isn't worthy of being Kim Namjoon's engagement ring!"
Yoongi rolled his eyes, completely unfazed with the older's outburst in the middle of the jewelry shop. Some people had stopped to look at them with concern (and some with amusement) before continuing with their shopping.
"You know Namjoon won't really care about how the ring looks like right?" Yoongi said to Seokjin who had just examined a whole case of engagement rings, getting rid of any hope that they could be his boyfriend's engagement ring.
"Do you think I'm stupid? I've been with Namjoon for almost seven years and I've been dating him for four. Do you really think I wouldn't know that?" Seokjin said.
Yoongi sighed as they went around the jewelry shop yet again. Seokjin wanted to make sure that he hadn't accidentally overlooked the ring of his dreams.
"Let's go," Seokjin said as they finished looking around the shop for the tenth time. "There's another jewelry shop about twenty minutes from this one, maybe they have the ring I'm looking for."
Yoongi groaned at his friend's suggestion and followed him out the door of the jewelry shop.
This is what he gets for agreeing to help him pick an engagement ring out.

"I hope this place has the ring you want Joonie," Hoseok said to his friend as they made their way over to another jewelry shop that was only a couple of minutes away from the one they were just at. "I'll take you to all the jewelry shops you want to go today but I can't do that tomorrow because Daehyunie is taking me out for the day."
"Ooh, a date? Did he say where?" Namjoon said not really looking at his friend since he could spot a group of girls with cameras on the other side of the street. He didn't want to risk them getting a picture of him and Hoseok leaving a jewelry shop that sells engagement rings.
"I'm not sure. He said it's a surprise."
The two friends continued walking, keeping their faces slightly down as to avoid anyone who may be trying to get a picture of them
But since they were looking slightly down, they couldn't see who was walking towards their direction until they bumped into them.
"Joonie?"
"Yoongi?"
"Jinie?"
"Hobi?
The four males looked at each other in surprise. They were not expecting to bump into each other at all. Especially while two out of the four of them were getting engagement rings for each other.
"What are you guys doing here? I thought you were going to stay at home Jinnie." Namjoon said looking at his boyfriend who was still shocked that they bumped into each other.
"I-uh, I was but Yoongi wanted to go somewhere but he needed his car for that and Hana has his car so he asked me if I could drive him there, and I did, but we ended up going to the wrong place and the actual place we have to go was like just around the corner from where we went so that's where we're going now." Jin said nervously and a little bit too fast for Namjoon and Hoseok, and even Yoongi, to understand.
"Oh," Namjoon said, still looking at his boyfriend with a confused expression. "Well Hobi and I have to get going. There's a sale he wanted to go check out so we gotta hurry before all the good things are gone."
Namjoon and Hoseok said bye to Yoongi and Seokjin before quickly walking away from the two.
"They're lying." Yoongi said once both boys were out of earshot.
"Really?" Jin said looking at his short friend. "I don't think they're lying. Don't you remember that we passed by a store that was having a sale?"
"Not about the sale, Jin. They're lying about going to it. You see, if Namjoon had been by himself while he said that I would've believed him but he wasn't. Hobi was with him. And maybe if you didn't always act as if Namjoon is the only thing in front of you, you would've noticed that Hobi was trying to keep a straight face and his ears were turning slightly red."
Seokjin stared at Yoongi and blinked. "Or maybe you need to stop acting as if Hobi is the only thing in front of you."
"I don't do that, I'm not weird like you." Yoongi said turning slightly red at what Seokjin had pointed out.
"Whatever you say Yoongi." Seokjin smiled.
"Anyways, like I was saying, Hobi looked like he was struggling to keep a straight face probably because he knew Namjoon wasn't saying the truth. So therefore they were lying about going to check out that store's sale." Yoongi said, completely ignoring Seokjin's remark.
"Ok," Seokjin said as he opened the door to the jewelry shop he and Yoongi had been walking towards and the one Namjoon and Hoseok had been walking away from. "So why do you think they would lie about where they're going?"
Yoongi shrugged. "Beats me. They could be going to a porn shop for all we know."
Seokjin looked at Yoongi with a shocked expression to which the shorter replied with a simple shrug before starting to look around the jewelry shop.
Seokjin looked around too, still a bit shocked at what Yoongi had said. So shocked that he almost missed The Ring. Almost.
He looked at it with wide eyes and gently placed his hand on the display case. It really was The Ring.
"I found it," Seokjin said as he looked at the small engagement ring that was in the very same jewelry shop Namjoon had been in about half an hour ago. The same jewelry shop that Namjoon had not found a perfect engagement ring for Seokjin.
And, as funny as it was, just about the same time Seokjin found The Ring for Namjoon, Namjoon found The Ring for Seokjin in the jewelry shop Seokjin couldn't find one for him.
