trigger warning: slight homophobia
It was a Friday afternoon and Yoongi and Hana were watching a movie at Yoongi's place. It wasn't the best movie in the world but it was interesting enough to keep watching. Suddenly, as the movie reached the halfway mark, Yoongi's phone, which was on the coffee table, buzzed and lit up.
Hana's eyes went fron the TV screen that was playing the movie to Yoongi's phone in seconds. She managed to read the notification that popped up on her boyfriend's phone screen and rolled her eyes. Hoseok had posted a picture on his Instagram page.
She didn't know what Yoongi found so interesting about that boy that he had post notifications for his account. Hoseok was an annoying guy who was too loud for his own good. If she weren't dating Yoongi she would've blocked the rapper's annoying friend. But she couldn't risk Yoongi asking her why she had his friend blocked whenever he went on Instagram on her phone.
"Mind if I check it out?" Yoongi asked pointing to his phone. Hana paused the movie and smiled at Yoongi. "Go ahead."
He smiled back at her and reached forward to grab his phone. She watched as he unlocked his phone, went on the Instagram app and checked out Hoseok's new post.
His smile grew bigger and he let out a chuckle as he quickly typed something on his phone. Hana would've thought her boyfriend looked really cute at that moment had it not been for the fact that he was looking like that because he was looking at some guy's picture. Just as she thought Yoongi would put his phone down and focus his attention back on her and the movie, his phone let out another sound letting them know that there was an incoming phone call. She wanted to scream.
Yoongi looked at her and smiled sheepishly. "Hey, Hoseok is calling. It'll be quick ok? I'll be right back." And without even waiting for Hana to say anything, he got up and went upstairs to his room to answer the phone call.
Hana sighed and threw her heard back. She should've known this would've happened. Yoongi had a tendency to do this whenever they were together. Every time they were and something Hoseok related happened, he put everything on hold to check it out.
This deeply bothered her but Hana tried to tell herself that it was whatever and not to focus too much on what Yoongi did whenever Hoseok's name popped up on his phone.
But it still bothered her, because Hana wasn't stupid. She knew why Yoongi got like that.
She's known for a while that her boyfriend didn't feel much for her. And too be honest, she wasn't sure she felt much for him anymore either. She still loved him, just not as much as she did when he asked her out at the ice cream parlour she works at.
Sure, they acted liked they were in love with each other in public, and on social media, but that was only for show. They weren't that crazy for each other as their posts made it seem. But this wasn't what really bothered Hana though. What bothered her was the reason as to why they weren't so crazy for each other.
Yoongi was gay.
He hadn't said anything to her about this topic, heck they've never talked about each other's sexuality, but she knew he was gay and it bothered her. It upset her.
Now, she didn't have that big of a problem with Yoongi being, that, she knew he couldn't help it, but it still made her upset. And what made her more upset was the fact that it was fucking Jung Hoseok who made her see that Yoongi might not be straight.
She despised that man.
Hana hated him for many reasons, even before she started dating Yoongi she had a deep hatred for the bubbly rapper. She hated him so much that she went as far as paying some girl to hack his account for her to try and ruin his image.
She was desperate to find something to use to ruin his career but she couldn't. So she did the next best thing. Make the girl post a fake screenshot that would spark dating rumors around the rapper since dating rumors always did a number on idols careers.
But even that didn't work.
And now that she knew he was what stood in the way of her and Yoongi maybe having a chance at some sort of romance, she hated him even more. Because even though her and Yoongi's relationship probably wasn't going to make it to it's one year anniversary, she still believed that they could try.
She looked at her phone and scoffed at the picture Hoseok had posted. He looked, in her opinion, a bit ugly. If she weren't Yoongi's girlfriend she would've commented what she thought about Hoseok on his post but she didn't. Although she was a bit glad to see someone else thought the same thing as her.
Thank goodness her and Yaniv are always on the same page with things, despite not having talked in a while.
"Hey," Yoongi said as he plopped next to Hana. "Thanks for waiting."
Hana quickly exited out of the social media app, turned her phone off and looked over at her boyfriend with a smile. "No problem. You ready?"
Yoongi nodded and Hana pressed play on the remote. They sat in silence, laughing only at the jokes they found funny.
Perhaps, thought Hana as she leaned in closer to Yoongi, we do have a chance.

Also, I'm going to start updating two times a week instead of every day since I start school tomorrow and I want to focus on that. I was thinking every Monday and Friday but of course, the schedule might change depending on how busy I get.
Thanks for reading!😄💗]
