The guys were all sittting in Hoseok's living room, looking at the said male expectantly. He had something to tell then and they could all only wonder what it could possibly be.

Jin was still (as a joke) convinced that Hoseok or Jimin (or both) are pregnant despite how many times Namjoon and Yoongi tried to tell him otherwise on the way over. ("Jinnie, Hoseok and Jimin can't be or get each other pregnant. They lack some of the necessary things one needs in order to get pregnant." Namjoon had told his boyfriend as he drove them over to Hoseok's place.
"Did you ever pay attention in school?" Yoongi asked from the backseat of the couple's car. Hana was borrowing his car so he had to get a ride from them and he was slowly starting to regret joining them.
Jin looked back at him and frowned. "Of course I did, it's just some things have long left my mind."
Namjoon and Jin laughed at this and Yoongi only sighed and leaned back into the seat. How he wished they would hurry up and get to Hoseok's house.)

Yoongi was sure that it had something to do with Jimin and Hoseok, they both kept looking and smiling at each other. Prehaps they were dating, they were very close after all.
But the idea of Jimin and Hoseok dating bothered Yoongi, and it bothered him more that they were just now going to tell all of them.
He would've expected this from Jimin since they had only become friends two years ago through Hoseok, but never from Hoseok himself. Hoseok had been his friend since before either of them debuted, he was someone Yoongi deeply cared about. And surely Hoseok cared enough about Yoongi to tell him things like this, right? Yoongi sure hoped so as he looked at the bubbly male handing everyone a drink.

Namjoon didn't think much of the news Hoseok was going to tell them. Whatever it was, good or bad, (although it didn't seem as if it could be bad) they would all learn to accept it one way or another. That's what they always did whenever one of them announced something to their friend group. That's how they worked.
And it's not like Hoseok was going to drop any life changing news. Namjoon was sure of it.
The only thing he had to worry about was making sure he made Seokjin understand that Hoseok and Jimin weren't pregnant.

Taehyung and Junkook, the two youngest of the group and most mischievous, had put their minds together and figured out what could possibly be the news Hoseok meant to tell them. They figured Hoseok was possibly dating someone, or at least was interested in someone who had shown some interest back.
They had gone through the comments of both Jimin and Hoseok's latest posts and tried to read everything the fans had to say to see if they could piece some things together. Because, for some reason, fans were always one step ahead.

"So," Yoongi said looking at Hoseok once everyone had been given their drinks. "What is the news of the evening?"

"It's 2:00 pm Yoo-"

"Shh, let Hoseok speak Jungkook." Yoongi said interrupting the youngest of the group. Jungkook rolled his eyes and went back to drinking the banana milk Hoseok had given him.

Hoseok smiled and looked at his friends. "The news of this evening, as Yoongi called it, is that I might be introducing a boyfriend to you all very soon." 

Everyone (except for Jimin and the two youngest of the group) looked at him with surprised expressions.

"Really!?" Namjoon said, being the first one to speak after the announcement. "Who?"

This wasn't really life changing news, but it was definitely big news. Hoseok hadn't dated anyone since his debut in the music industry. Partly because he was busy with his idol life and the other part was because of his feelings for oblivious staright boy Yoongi who now had a girlfriend. Namjoon was surprised that Hoseok was moving on already.

Hoseok blushed and smiled. "Do you guys remember Daehyun? The guy met at that launch party for the clothing line Taehyung is modeling for?"

Taehyung's mouth fell open. The boy that could be Hoseok's future boyfriend was Lee Daehyun? He was a really popular model. He was tall, had a handsome face and a very nice body. Hoseok had chosen well. "Lee Daehyun? He's your current love interest?"

"Yes he is."

"How'd you guys start talking? From what I remember you two didn't say a word to each other at the party." Yoongi said. He was mad. Sure it wasn't Hoseok and Jimin, but it was Hoseok and someone. Hoseok, his best friend, had a crush on a random guy and Jimin knew before him. How could Hoseok tell Jimin something as big as this first and not him? Wasn't he supposed to be one of Hoseok's most trusted friends?

"We did talk at the party. I bumbed into him which led to us having a conversation. You don't remember because you weren't there when it happened. You were in the bathroom." Hoseok said, answering Yoongi's question. "And we also began talking recently on Instagram as well."

'Oh' was all Yoongi was able to say before Hoseok went on about how Daehyun had started commenting on his posts before he sent him a serious of texts via Instagram telling him very sweet things. He told them how the boy had promised Hoseok to tell him everyday that he was beautiful and that he loves him.

"Hoseok, you hit the jackpot. That Daehyun guy challenges me in looks." Jin said smiling. "But I still beat him, don't I Joonie?"

"Yes Jin." Namjoon smiled at his boyfriend before looking at Hoseok. "But Hoseok, that's really great that you found someone. And by what your saying, he's treating you nicely."

"I hope you two do end up together." Jungkook said. "I want you to be happy Hoseok and this guy seems to be helping with that."

They all agreed with Jungkook's words. Even Yoongi who was still upset and a little confused at the situation.

They all wanted their friend to be happy.
