"Hello?" The women's voice on the other side of the line said. She sounded a but confused and Yoongi didn't blame her.
"Hi mom."
"Yoongi? Did you change your number again?"
"Yes, sorry I should've let you known a while ago."
"Yes, I almost didn't answer!"
"I would be just kept calling then."
"Oh Yoongi." His mother laughed which made Yoongi smile. He heard her laugh for a few more seconds before she spoke again. "Now is there something you had to tell me or was that it?"
Yoongi took a deep breath because, yes, there was something Yoongi had to tell his mother. And it wasn't something as simple as telling her he changed his phone number.
"I do." Yoongi said softly. "It's sort of important."
Actually it was very important but Yoongi wasn't trying to freak his mother out and make her think something bad happened. He also was trying not to freak himself out.
"What is it sweetie?"
Yoongi took another deep breath because suddenly he was having second thoughts. Should he tell his mother? Was now really a good time?
A message popped up on the screen of his phone. It was a message from Hoseok.

My parents were really happy when I told them about us. They want you to come over for dinner already ^///^
Yoongi smiled.
"Yoongi?" His mother called out for him. Her voice showing concern as Yoongi had been quiet for some time.
"I'm still here mom." Yoongi replied. He paused for a second and look at a picture of him and Hoseok he had in his house. "Do you remember Hoseok?"
"Your friend Hoseok?" Yoongi's mother asked.
"Yes, that Hoseok."
"Yes I remember him.What about him? Is he ok?"
"He's doing fine mom, don't worry. Actually-"
Yoongi did not get to finish his very important sentence as his mother interrupted him.
"Oh that's great honey. I've been worried about him you know. First with that hacking incident that happened to him last year and then with his boyfriend breaking up with him not too long ago I was worried he wouldn't be feeling so well." Yoongi's mother said.
Yoongi clenched his jaw at his mother mentioning those two incidents. Since he was close to Hoseok (and now his boyfriend) he knew more about what actually happened in those incident then what was release to the public.
Of course his mother was part of the public and she had no knowledge of how upset the mentioning of the hacking incident and Hoseok's ex boyfriend made him.
"Don't worry mom," He said. "He's been doing great lately."
"Oh! I'm glad he is."
"Yeah," Yoongi smiled. "He's been smiling a lot lately."
"There must be something making him happy lately. Or someone." His mother laughed.
"It's someone," He said, taking a deep breath before he spoke again. "I'm that someone, mom."
There was silence on his mother's line. He began freaking out.
Had he screwed it up? Was his mother upset with him for what he had just said?
Yoongi felt the urge to hang up and cry and call Hoseok to tell him how everything had gone wrong but was stopped when he heard his mothers voice.
"Yoongi... are you telling me that you and Hoseok...?"
"Yes," Yoongi quick answered. "Hoseok and I are dating."
"Oh Yoongi that's just great!" His mother exclaimed rather loudly. "I've always thought he was such a nice boy. I'm so happy you two are together."
"Thank you mom." Yoongi said.
"Are you going to tell your father or would you rather I tell him?" His mother asked.
"You can tell him mom."
"Ok sweetie. I'll call back after I tell him. Bye!" His mother said. She hung up and Yoongi's smiled.
His mother had been really calm about the whole thing. Sort of. At least she didn't get mad that he was dating a guy.
Yoongi clicked on Hoseok's contact and write him a quick message, sharing what had just happen with his boyfriend.

Just got off the phone with my mom. She was actually really happy about the whole thing. I told her she could tell my dad and she said she'll call back after.

Yoongi's mom called back a few minutes after Hoseok's last text and told him that his dad was just as happy as she was.
Yoongi couldn't have been more relieved (and happier).
