☆ Chapter 13 - The Eternal and the Trickster ☆

First, we will take a look at the Paragons Team.

Their fleet soon arrived at their destination. The planet looked identical to a standard Planet Earth, except a dark cloud could be seen among the snowy regions of Canada.

That looks like our goal. But what approach do we take?
'^Lets take a small scouting team with us to ground level. First, we need to understand what exactly we are facing.^'
"◇Sounds good.◇"

The gunship entered the atmosphere, followed by a few other Zharyugo ships. They crossed the clouds and eventually arrived near the surface level. Before them was their destination: a large snowy mountain, with a few structures built around it. And over the summit, surrounded by dark clouds was a giant steel airship of some kind. Something with a bright red glow seems to be inside.

"^Whoa^"
'^Thats our target, no doubt.^'
》That symbol on the airshipthats a Maunákian brand.《
-^Then were on the right track.^-
◇But whats so special about that mountain? What artifact is Xersúda looking for?◇
'^I dont know. This place is undocumented territory. Well have to find out by ourselves.^'

They landed their ships next to the entrance of the mountain. After that, they exited their ships and turned on camo mode, thus beginning their trek.

At first, the mountain seemed really quiet. An abandoned city was present on their pathway, and still had some working machinery, but everyone who once lived here seems to have left.

After some trekking, the scout team goes on ahead while Elis team stands by for a minute.

'^Alright. My scanners detecting a very powerful magic being inside the mountain. Probably the leader of the bunch here. I have a plan. Crystal, Lukas and Sharida will sneak into the airship and tear it down from the inside. Me and the rest will look for the artifact and secure it.^'
》Are you sure that's wise? The leader here could find you and tear you apart.《
'^Destroying the airship first will severely weaken their forces. We cant risk letting the army spread to other locations.^'
"^I believe Genno said one of the Gods is supposed to be here too. Maybe theyre away, containing the army elsewhere.^"
-^So if we take down the airship, they can directly aid us.^-
"◇Then its decided. Just stay safe, and make sure you dont get lost.◇"
'^Roger, roger. Good luck to you three as well.^'

Sharida uses her magic to create a small platform using the ground. She hops on along with Lukas and Crystal and they fly away slowly.

The Paragons continue trekking through the mountain, eventually reaching a cave with ruins inside. Eli follows a strange magic signal through his scanner.

The pathway was filled with spikes, oddly placed structures and a unique type of rock.

"^Someone really didnt want anybody to go through here. We must be getting close to something.^"
-^Stay sharp.^-

They crossed the spiky obstacle course and reached a small room with seemingly nothing but a mirror inside. It was a somewhat decorated one too.

The trio walked closer. The mirror seems to reflect nothing but them, and the reflections had a different color scheme to them.

-^This mirror must be the artifact.^-
'^Yeah...scan says the same.^'
"^What do you think it does?^"
'^Not sure...but it must be something powerful.^'

Ivo walked over to the base of the mirror.

"^It's connected to the floor. So, I think it's better to leave it where it is. Not willing to risk removing it's magic property by accident.^"
'^Then I'll warn the others.^'
