☆ Chapter 16 - A Date with Destiny ☆

Infernum. One of the largest worlds of all time. Home planet of the demon race created during the Multiverse's begginings. The battlefield where the fate of all worlds will be decided.

On one end, a giant fleet of multiple allies entered the atmosphere to fight the demon army's front lines. On the other, the Stargazer had landed closer to the Fortress, in a unpopulated area. The team in charge of the infiltration exited the ship and went towards their destination.
Dozens of millions of demons were in the plains in front of the entrance, anticipating the assault by the fleet.

Eventually, the infiltration team reached the fortress, surrounded by the dimensional barrier.

"Ok, we're here...but what now?"
'^I guess first we see if what Ara said was corre--^'

Before he could even finish his sentence, the barrier opened up a small hole they could pass through.

'^...oh.^'
'"The gamble actually worked."'
》He really is as confident as Ara described.《
♤No time to waste. Teams, let's go.♤

The attack team and the gem destruction team started to move inside. Right after they all got inside, the barrier fully closes. It's on.

On the battlefield, millions of Zharyugo troops and allies were positioned in order to attack. Ivory was among them, positioned at the back of the group in order to charge up his skill. Dissle and Diati were next to him, powering him up.

The armies started charging onward. The three stayed behind as his spell reached full power.
Once the opportunity appeared, he slammed the base of his scythe on the ground, making a green glow burst from it.

"^Rise, and finish the fight once and for all!!^"

Thousands of undead soldiers rose from the floor and charged with the rest of the army.
Shots were fired. The two armies had collided. The grand battle of their time had begun. Could the forces of good defeat the demon army's seemengly endless numbers?

¤...so, the volcanic Lands of Infernum is where the fate of our world will be decided.¤

"^For now, we fight here. Let's go.^"

While the armies fought in the battlefield of destiny, the infiltration team sped through the fortress. After enough time, they had reached the throne room at last. And before them was the big bad boy himself.

Wearing the Demon Crown, some really intimidating armor and showing off his giant dragon wings features was Xersúda Ribokun, sitting in the stolen throne. He was at least 8 feet tall.

#Heheheh...at last.#
"...So you're the bastard behind all this, huh?"
'Thanks for letting us in, by the way. It'll make kicking your ass easier.'
"×I am going to burn you for what you did.×"

The demon king gets up from the throne and crosses his arms.
