it had only been a few days since paige's strange encounter with calum but she felt like an eternity had passed.
it was tuesday morning and paige, ella, ashton and luke were all sitting at their usual table in the canteen.
"how is everybody today?" sister jude asked whilst handing out lukewarm coffee.
there was no response, just quick nods and smiles were sent in her direction.
"who wants to play a game?" sister jude asked, and people sighed. sister jude was known for games. whether it was hide and seek or a simple game of cards; they always had some sort of twist to them.
A few didn't bother to reply or even nod their head, but some did. so sister jude made everyone push their chairs out the way along with the tables.
"hit it." she points over to luke who was standing by the dusty record player. luke starts the song and sister jude starts dancing.

The middle aged nun sings as everyone starts to dance.

the game was fun. kind of. but by the end of it, they were all extremely exhausted.
ashton was feeling a little bit... depressed right now. he didn't want to talk to anyone, so he just sat in the corner of the room looking out the window as the heavy rain rattled against the window like hail stones. and of course ashton wasn't going to tell anyone that he was feeling down, otherwise they would probably take him in for shock treatment. they always did.
"ashton are you okay?" paige asked from across the room, and ashton hoped that nobody had heard her.
"im great. " ashton said with a fake smile plastered on his face.
"you don't look great. well you do. but you don't look like you're feeling great. like at all."
"paige honest im fine." he says pleadingly. but it's too late, because one of the doctors has already heard.
"is it the demons again?" the doctor says, approaching ashton. there was no point denying it. no matter what he said, he'd be strapped to that chair and he'd have electricity sent throughout his body.
ashton nods, glancing up at him. the doctor grabs ashtons arm, pulling him up and dragging him out the room. ashton looks at paige and the look says "thanks a whole fucking lot." but ashtons used to this.

Wow sorry for not updating in 283 years and sorry for such a short chapter but this kind of shows you a bit about ashtons character okay.
