Soon it was Jin's birthday, and the practice for the concert in January and the new year's concert already started. V and Jungkook had almost no time for each other. Mostly they were too exhausted to go out together. But they often eat together. That was their peaceful time. Once Jungkook was shopping with Jimin. It was evening sale. V was in vocal lessons. Jungkook wanted to buy a present for Taehyung, since his birthday was near. "I'm not good at it", he confessed to Jimin. "Tae is too good for everything and too beautiful for every jewellery." He laughed nervously. "I think he would love hearing that from you. Buy something that comes from your heart. It don't have to be expensive. V is a romantic guy, you know that." "That's what he said in the interview....» «So, he's not?» Jungkook giggles. «Yes he is.» «So...are you going to buy me something too?" "Why should I?» «I want to have a boyfriend too..." "I thought your just into girls...." «Actually I am, but you changed too. What if I come to the taste of it?" Jungkook bumped into him from his side «Your horrible...» «It's hard to be single and watch you all lovely-dovey all the time..." "Our relationship is very difficult next to work. We don't have a lot time together...» «I need someone too though....to cuddle...and for sex...." Jungkook choose two double rings, and let 'Jk and V 4ever' engrave. Satisfied with his decision, he went to a coffee house with Jimin. V called. «Baby, where are you?» «I'm outside with Jimin at the café, we will come back soon. Jimin has only dirty thoughts anyway.» «Really? Tell him he should behave. See you.»

For Christmas he and Jimin recorded a Christmas cover song. Even if he made some dirty jokes and teased them, Jimin was a really good friend of him and V. And Jungkook got even closer to him through Tae. He felt his relationship with Tae mostly accepted by Jimin. Jimin helped Jungkook with dancing. Jungkook was a good dancer himself, but Jimin was just born to dance. He showed him some tricks. Somehow he reminded him of his older brother, who was at the same age as Jimin. Jimin always took good care of Jungkook . He was unnaturally obsessed with cuddling, and really addicted to compliments. But his heart was just on the right place and he knew how to work hard. He was the most popular with woman, and he really knew how to use his charm on them. He showed Jungkook how to flirt with girls, and it was the role of idols to keep a flirty but respectful contact with their fans which were mostly female. Jungkook had his difficulties with the other gender. He didn't know why, but he was a little bit afraid of them. The new year's show started at V's birthday. Actually just the main rehearsal for it. Jimin and the others prepared a birthday cake for him. At the next occasion Jungkook gave his present to V. Secretly, of course. V was so happy and excited about it. Jungkook was relieved, because he was really insecure how V would react. V kissed him with his bright smile on his face. It meant a lot to him. Jungkook needed to take some pictures of him. The year ended successful for them and they started the new year with new energy. RM finished a song in December. It was called «I need you» and was inspired by a fight between Jungkook and V. The fight didn't last long, but Jungkook's «I need you, V hyung" he said, with a soft cracking voice he to the ignoring and cold V, shivered through his bones. He thought about being lost and to get comfort in another human being. And what happens when your totally on your own. Bang PD liked the song and RM and Suga were writing other songs together focusing on the process to getting adult.

In January they were busy with practicing for the 'red bullet episode 1' concert. Bighit told them that they invited their families for the event. Everyone was excited about it, but felt also pressured. Suga didn't know if his family actually was coming. Jungkook was also nervous, mostly because he didn't told them yet about him and Tae.
