“Liss, I’m going to fucking kill you.” I muttered for probably the thousandth time that morning.

I didn’t remember a whole lot about the party, but if my current hangover was anything to go by I knew that it had to have been a pretty good night. I did remember trying to hook both Luke and Liss up, and I remembered beer pong with Calum, Mikey, and Ash. I also have a vague recollection of Ashton giving me a piggy back, but other than that my memories were fuzzy at best.

None of that was really important though. What was important was the fact that I was very hung over and very unimpressed with the fact that Liss was making me go to school.

I’d been enjoying being asleep (well, I mean I’m pretty sure I was but there’s no real way to know how you’re feeling while you’re actually asleep) when Liss had rudely awakened me by opening the curtains in my room and ripping my blankets off of me. I probably would have just gone back to sleep if she hadn’t threatened to let Luke sit on me. That was how I’d ended up in the back seat of Luke’s car despite the fact that I had a pounding headache and the slightest bit of noise made me cringe.

I’d been throwing half-hearted threats at Hemmings2 since we left my house and I don’t know why I was still bothering because now we were almost at school and there was no way I was getting out of this.

“You’ll thank me for this someday when you've managed to get a high paying job because you didn’t flunk out of high school.” Liss sent me a cheeky smile and the fact that she was able to be so happy this early in the morning made me want to scream.

“Great, I can become my mother.” I rolled my eyes which was a terrible because it only caused the pain in my head to once again flare up. “One bonus, I guess, is that if you’re always drunk you’re never sober enough to actually develop a hangover.”

“You’re not going to become your mum.” Luke spoke up for the first time as he was pulling into a parking spot.

“They say alcoholism runs in families; so who know, perhaps there’s still time for me yet.” I got out of the car and brought one of my hands up to block out the sun, I already had sunglasses on but they weren’t really helping.

Just like the day before Ashton was waiting by my locker and Mikey and Calum were nowhere to be seen.

“I can’t even believe you’re here right now.” Ashton laughed and I glared at him because his laugh was so goddamn loud. “Don’t glare at me; this is totally your fault. I tried to get you to stop drinking.”

“You did not.” I replied even though I had no way to actually be certain about that.

“I did too.” He laughed again and I just flipped him off before heading off towards the back of the school.

I was fairly certain that’s where Mikey and Cal would be, and I was kind of hoping that I’d be able to get a little sympathy from at least one of them. Sure enough when I rounded the corner I spotted the two of them lounging around on one of the abandoned tables.

“Did you actually strip last night or was I just imagining that?” I asked them as a way of greeting. A smirk appeared on Calum’s face and I held up a hand to stop him from talking. “You don’t need to say anything, I already have my answer.”

I fell ungracefully onto the seat beside Calum and began rummaging through my back pack for my cigarettes before I remembered that I didn’t have any. I turned to Mikey with a pout and he rolled his eyes before he pulled out his packet and handed them to me.

“Have you noticed that you two are virtually always together?” I hadn’t really meant to ask the question out loud but it kind of just happened.
