59 - Returning the Stones

Bruce Banner, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers, and Hannah were all planning on returning the stones to the time and place they got them. Steve was going to return them, but Hannah insisted on returning it. She knew where to go to return the Time Stone. The others told her where to return the remaining stones.

Steve and Hannah both agreed that they'd take the stones back to the exact time and place they were taken from. It originally was supposed to be just Hannah but there was only one problem: Hannah wasn't worthy of Mjolnir. They knew that Steve was worthy of lifting it.

"You don't have to do this," Steve said. "I can do this on my own."

"I want to do this, Cap," Hannah insisted. "It's already too late for me to back out."

"How long is this going to take?" Sam asked as Steve and Hannah took the position.

"As long as they need, but five seconds for us," Bruce responded.

"Ready, Cap, Hannah?" Bruce asked.

Steve picked up Mjolnir.

"We're ready," Hannah said.

"Alright," Bruce said. "We'll meet you back here, okay?"

Hannah nodded.

"Going quantum in," Bruce said, "three, two, one..."

Steve and Hannah both disappear.

They arrived in New York during the Battle of New York in 2012.

"Where's the Ancient One?" Steve asked.

"Follow me," Hannah said. "Let's go."

Hannah and Steve started to head to the Ancient One.

"Why are you rushing?" Steve asked.

"My mom is going to get killed soon," Hannah said. "I already relived this moment. I don't want to be near where it happened when it occurs."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Steve apologized.

"It's not your fault," Hannah said.

They got to the roof of the building the Ancient One is on.

"You're back," the Ancient One said.

"I am," Hannah confirmed.

"Where's Doctor Banner?" she asked.

"He needed to stay behind," Hannah said.

"We're here to return the Time Stone," Steve said. "Hannah?"

"Here," Hannah said. She opened the briefcase and took out the green stone. She handed the stone to the Ancient One.

"Thank you," the Ancient One said.

Steve and Hannah went to the year, 1970, to return the Tesseract.

They put on a disguise before entering the base.

"The Birthplace of Captain America," Hannah read.

"This is where Captain America was created," Steve said.

"Cool."

They snuck down to the basement to return the tesseract.

As they were returning the Tesseract in its original place, Howard Stark came. He was looking for Arnim Zola.

"Quick, hide," Hannah whispered to Steve.

"What about you?"

"I'll be fi -?"
