4. meant to be?

...."So are you dating my brother"
Well that was a shock..
"Um no we are just friends, why?"
"Hm seems like you're dating him though, it's fine you can tell me if you are. I won't tell my parents" he winked, in a kind of smug way.
I couldn't stop noticing the way he kept running his hands through his shiny hair, the way Leo did when I first met him.

But when Flynn did it I felt, kind of.. giddy?

"Do you not talk or something?" He laughed, looking to see if his friends had noticed him intimidating me. "Are you questioning if you chose the wrong brother? I'd treat you right Chloe.

"Yes I do talk, I just feel it's none of your business to be questioning me on my relationship with other people and what are you going on about? I'm not dating Leo, we're friends!
Wow I never would of thought I'd stick up for myself like that!

"Come with me, I want to show you something!" He took my arm pulling me with him, I couldn't pull back and make a scene, so I just went with him back into the house. We went up the luxury stairs which led to a long hallway, we entered a large, dark room. Filled with beautiful, Oakwood furniture all with awards of some sort. At the other side of the room, two patio doors stood still leading out to a small balcony with two foldable chairs looking out to the view!

"Oh wow! Is this your room!!" I was in complete and utter shock. But couldn't help asking myself..
If I should be here? And why he'd brought me up here?

He just smiled walking towards me, he was so close to me. I could feel his breath on my face.
This felt weird..

I moved away and went over to the patio looking out over the view, it was beautiful. I looked over the balcony at garden below all lit with fairy lights and everyone having an amazing time. That was when I heard a slight giggle behind me, when I turned round there was group of guys all with their phones pointing towards me.

"Did you actually get her to kiss you Flynn!" A small guy in the middle asked, grinning up at the other boys.

"Too right, practically had her falling at my feet!" He said hesitating, he didn't seem so smug when talking in front of his friends.

"No way, she actually came up here! Already cheating on Leo! You're a babe magnet Flynn!"
A blonde surfer looking guy said on the end, laughing at me.

"I told you, all girls Leo likes turn to me in the end!" Flynn said, looking smug again.
Leo likes me?
A tear began to travel down my cheek as I could feel my bottom lip begin to vibrate. I pushed past them and ran down the stairs in full crying mode now, Leo and India came running over.

"We've been looking everywhere for you! What's wrong Chloe?" Leo panicked, putting his hand on me. We all looked up to see Flynn and his friends watching over the staircase grinning. "Chloe, what did he say or do to you! Tell me!"
I need to go home.

"I can't talk right now please, I need to just go home!" I ran out the door and just started to walk home as fast as I could. Then it all hit me. They were recording me? I stood still and pulled my phone out as fast as I could and typed in Flynn on Leo's friend list on Instagram. Thank god. His account was public and there was no video! I clicked on a tagged photo with the blonde guy who had laughed at me. Jackson, his name was. His account public also. Wait. No. The video he'd posted it, captioned

'Flynn strikes again, can't have a party without him pulling a girl'

My tears began to overflow out of my eyes, I just couldn't stop crying. I bent down my head in my hands. As a voice behind me became apparent.

"Um, Chlo I'm sorry, it was meant to be a joke. I didn't think you'd get this upset over it.
Chlo? Nobody calls me Chlo?

I turned to see a somewhat worried guy. A black leather jacket over his grey top.
It was Flynn.
What am I meant to do? Is this another joke and his friends are waiting around the corner to laugh at me?

"Are you serious? You've just humiliated me and now you want to "apologise" Did Leo get you to come apologise? get away from me and leave me alone!" I shouted, maybe a bit louder than I should of. He tried to grab my arm again like before but I moved away.
I began to run home, the world flying past me.
My house approached without a light in sight. My phone buzzing with 40+ missed calls off both India and Leo, the time read 00.18am. I turned around to see a dark silhouette on the opposite side of the road, leant again a tree. He shouted "Chloe, please let me explain!"

Flynn has followed me...?

I turned back around and just went inside, enough was enough! I tried to be as quiet as I could up to my bedroom; I didn't want my brother or mom to see my this way, they'd be questioning me for days! I went straight over to my bed at just collapsed on it. I held the bunny teddy I got when I was a baby and just fell right asleep.

Little did Chloe know what would happen the day after...
