The elves helped the people and creatures of Bree to gather all the dead orcs together in a pile. They poured oil on their ugly bodies and burned them to ashes.

In the very centre of the small village, in a bar called Prancing Pony, the wounded were being taken care of by the elven healers.

"What happened to the other orcs?" Poe asked. "I am pretty sure that there were more orcs than that pile of dead bodies."

"The rest of the orcs had fled," Legolas informed Poe as they stood in the middle of the ruins of Maz's castle. "So you're Poe Dameron?"

"Yes," Poe replied. "You?"

"Legolas Greenleaf."

"Of Mirkood?"

"Yes."

"Poe!" Aragorn called, running to him, BB-8 by his side. "Legolas!"

When he and the droid finally reached them, Legolas put his hand on Aragorn's shoulder. "Good to see you, old friend," he said, smiling.

"You too, Legolas," Aragorn replied. He smiled down at BB-8 and turned to Poe, concern on his face. "Have you seen Rey?"

"No. I hadn't seen her since she left the table when you were talking with Maz."

"Who's Rey?" Legolas asked.

"A girl who found BB-8 in the Jakku desert. We took her with us. The ringwraiths would have killed her."

"Did she have brown hair and hazel eyes?"

"Yes. How did you-"

"I saw her."

"Where?"

"In the forest." He pointed at the way that he came from. "That way."

"Let's go and find her," Aragorn said. "Poe, stay with BB-8. Me and Legolas will go and find her."

Rey groaned in pain. Blood was flowing from her right leg, where the arrow stuck out.

An orc had aimed at her chest but she moved and the arrow landed in her leg instead. She shot the orc with her blaster, a moment after.

She sat down on the ground and tore the cleanest part of her shirt. She put it on her leg, and reached for the arrow. She clenched it hard, with both of her palms and as quickly as she could - pulled it out.

Rey cried out. The pain was unbearable. Blood was spilling from her leg now. She grabbed the piece of fabric and started wrapping it around her wound. She knew that it would not help a lot, but it would at least stop maybe a half of the blood from leaving her body.

She looked at the ground under and surrounding her leg. It was covered in a puddle of blood.

Rey gasped, terrified at the amount of blood she had lost.

Just breath, she told herself. Just stay calm and breath.

"Rey!" she heard a voice call her. It sounded familiar.

Legolas and Aragorn ran over to Rey, who had her eyes nearly shut.

"She's bleeding," Legolas stated, concerned. "We have to bring her with us. We have a few healers."

Aragorn lifted Rey's body and they rushed back to where they came from.
