As Yuri opened her eyes she found herself in a room, a dark room that was like a place out of time. No daylight streamed its way into the room, it was total blackness. The place was so unfamiliar that it was like she was being in another universe. She threw glances to her sides, searching for something or rather somebody who could be there. But nobody is around her. No other noise could be heard in the room, it was a complete silence that lay on her skin like a toxin. She was all alone on the extremely soft single bed with white sheet at the center of the room.
She let her eyes wander once again, blinking repeatedly through the dark room as she attempted to seat herself. With each movement that she made, Yuri discovered something. It was an unusual feeling to her hand, left hand to be precise. To the highs and lows emotion, she felt there's a metal thing encircling her fourth finger.
There was a ring on it.
A single tear flowed naturally upon noticing what it was. The room somehow slowly turned into a soft, hopeful darkness. Her hand trembles from feeling such blissfulness yet she has no recollection on how it happened. But one thing that her heart certain is,
It was a ring from Yena.
Then Yuri's eyes suddenly fluttered open, her vision was all blurry and she feels a great headache. It felt like an endless needles simultaneously piercing through her head. Despite the pain she was dealing, she looked around her and realizes that... it was all just a dream. She was lying on the bed, in their house, but the headache made her suffer so much that she couldn't help but to uttered a yelp.
Yuri's sharp voice caused Yena to wake up from her deep slumber. The blonde glanced at the clock first, still feeling heavy-eyed but she noticed Yuri was somewhat in a pain. "Hey, are you alright? What happened?" she asked, face full with concern.
"I... had a dream then I woke up and my head hurts so much now," she replied lowly with raspy voice, hands on her head still bearing with the pain.
Without thinking much, Yena got off from the bed in hurry, pouring enough water on the glass before walking back and sat on the bed side. "Here Yuri-yah, drink some water first," she offered.
The brunette sat up, taking the glass then gulping down the water. "Thanks for this," she muttered, giving back the empty glass to Yena which the latter put it back on the desk quickly.
Yena got back on the bed, bringing her hands to gently massage Yuri's head in order to help easing the pain. "It's still 4 AM, let's rest more?" Yena advised for them to get more sleep as she herself still feels drowsy.
Nodding her head slowly, Yuri replied simply. "Mhm, sorry I woke you up," she wore the kind of apologetic smile on her face which Yena immediately shakes her head to deny her. The blonde lay down first before tucking Yuri's body in hers. She held her tenderly as if Yena was assuring Yuri that everything is going to be alright.
Feeling the warmth that Yena always gave her, Yuri planted a light peck on her cheek before trying to go back to sleep.
Thank you for always loving me like this.

Later in the morning, Yuri was cooking breakfast as usual. Yena had woken up too, she was sitting in the living room, busy with controller in her hands. As promised before, Yuri had bought her a new game every now and then and now Yena is addicted to even play in the early morning. She plays any kind of game, but the current one she was playing is a horror one thus being the scaredy-cat she is, Yena would suddenly make a loud noise or collapse by the thrilling jumpscare.
Meanwhile, Yuri was about to brew morning tea for them but decided to ask Yena first to what does she want. "What kind of tea do you want today, Yena?" her yell echoes through the room nicely.
"..."
No response.
"Yena!!" She leaned her body on the kitchen's doorframe, shouting even louder, causing her voice to made its way into Yena's ears who was still busy with her playthrough.
"Y-yes, you called?" Yena quickly pushed the start button, pausing her game in instant before averting her gaze at Yuri's direction.
The brunette folded her arms while shaking her head incoherently. "Which tea for today?" she asked again, clearly raising her brow.
"Ohh, oolong tea," Yena was about to resume her game but she brings her head back at Yuri before putting her most innocent smile. "Please," her eyes shaping like a crescent moon softening the inky night sky on Yuri's face.
Yuri heaved out a sigh, but a small smile appeared second later. All of her annoyance melted away in everytime Yena put that certain of smile, heart weakened by it and she couldn't handle that than to give in to the blonde's mischievous act.
Back in the kitchen, Yuri slightly open the cupboard which has teas in it. She reached the oolong one then placing it at the marble countertops, taking four teaspoons of it onto the pitcher before filling it with hot water halfway. After letting the tea steep for some good minutes, she filled the pitcher again with cold water so that it wouldn't be too hot for them to sip right away. She tried the brewed tea with a spoon first before taking out the leaves. Not as sturdy as black tea, not as subtle as the green one, but oolong tea has its own intriguing flavor and fragrant like a fresh flower or fruit.
Perfect! She complimented herself internally, satisfied with her tea.
But just when she took a ceramic cup from the cupboard, it breaks... in her own hand. She then loose her hold of the cup, letting it fell dramatically on the floor as she watches her hand morbidly.
Yena who was into her game heard the loud breaking sound from the kitchen, so she dashed over after throwing her controller on the sofa, not even care if she had paused the game or not. She looked on the floor, the broken ceramic shattered infuriatingly with red thick blood splattered on it. Cautiously avoiding the broken cup, she walked over to where Yuri was standing with a worried face.
"Yuri-yah, what's wrong? You okay?" Taking the gruesome sight of Yuri's hand, she grabbed the latter's wrist, leading it to the sink and wash it carefully. " It's so unlike you to let thing slipped away like this," she added, knowing fully that Yuri isn't the clumsy type of person.
"No... T-the cup... breaks itself... after I grabbed it..." the brunette was unsure if her explanation could be understood, but she was telling the truth.
It was really weird for the cup to be broken in Yuri's hand all of a sudden. After the dream she had before, and now this happened... Yuri was uncertain how but she could vaguely sense that it might be some kind of omen, that something bad might happen soon or later.
