Yuri and Yena were being left alone in the room. The light orbs that entered their bodies give them a feeling that it's the time for Yuri to carry her duty as Luna. As they face each other, Yuri's hand found its way to palm Yena's cheek and caress it with her thumb softly; feeling the fair skin on her fingers while a thin smile graced Yuri's lips.

Yena brought her hand on top of Yuri's hand which had been giving her gentle skims, causing Yena to slightly tilt her head and closing her eyes to fully savor her wife's touches.

"Yuri... I don't want you to carry anyone's burde–" she started.

"Shusshh."

Yena opened her eyes and the room's air suddenly feels thick and heavy, hanging on her skin who waits for Yuri to open her mouth other than the shush. But rather, Yuri ran a hand on Yena's hair then tucks it behind her ear.

"Yena, my beloved one," Yuri called, her timbre of voice as radiant as sunlight, as clear as flowing river. "What you have to go through must really be painful onward... But..."

The brunette paused, taking in an air before she continues for what her mind has been thinking to say to Yena at this exact moment.

"Thank you for marrying me... And for loving me always... I, too, will always love you and watching you...This is... our small farewell, Yena..."

She then took both of Yena's hand, bringing them close to her face before she kissed them wholeheartedly.

Yuri's words carved deeply inside Yena's heart, tightening every space left in her chest. Squeezing it with somewhat tremendous power that Yena felt so helpless but to let a tear escaped from the corner of her eyes instantly. Along with her heart, a single tear had dropped. Then another one followed until it became a solid stream, flowing down fearfully onto the tile ground she's standing.

Wearing perpetual frown on her face, Yena kept on shaking her head, indicating that she hasn't been prepared and never be prepared for a farewell with Yuri. All of her emotions being unlocked and getting jumbled in a point. Her mouth instinctively kept on replaying "no" quietly, too mortified to speak, too horrified to make a sound, too petrified that it's going to be real if she let her voice out.

But Yuri had to go. So, she released Yena's hands and slowly turned her back, sitting on the bed just before them. She looks at Yena intently, "Once again, good night, Yena..."

With that last sentence, Yuri lied down, clasping her hands together on top of her stomach. She could feel it. Inside her... the sands of time were mercilessly and without doubt starting to freeze within her.

Yena's eyes widen and eyebrows pulled down, refusing to accept the reality. She seeks in every corner for a sign that this all is just a dream, a nightmare she would overcome after she wakes up. Her heart still cries out, hoping it wasn't real. Hoping it was all just lies. But the next thing she found was Yuri closing her eyes, and fading away... Every trace of Yuri's soul... diminished before Yena's very own eyes.

"Yuri-yah, you mean the world to me. How can I sleep now while my world is sleeping on me?"

With the Hex of The Moon, Yuri had gone into her deep slumber.

Since that day, Yena hasn't sleep nor does she intend to get any. Neither Chaewon nor Hitomi could persuade her to sleep, it has been going on for two weeks straight. Until one day, Chris–the previous Luna– came to visit Yena in her room.

"Pardon mine intrusion, My Lady," Chris greeted politely as she enters the room.

"Lady Chris? What brings you here?" Yena queried weakly, feeling a bit strange with the sudden visit.

"Tonight shall be a full moon night. I bring thou this Elixir of Virtues," she pulled out a small flask, liquid with the color of azure fully filled it in. She then extended it to Yena who arched an eyebrow, "Thou should posset this so that thou shall not transform later."

Yena's hand reached out and takes the flask, looking at it apathetically. "Ah, so this is the famous potion I have been hearing all this time in the castle. Thank you, Lady Chris," she said with tinge of emptiness in her voice.

Chris excused herself out from the room, not wanting to disturb Yena any longer although she knows the Alpha wasn't exactly busy. Her leave gave Yena a space to drink the liquid right away, unknowing the potion also contained a brewed valerian root, a simple yet powerful sleeping potion.

Shortly, Yena felt her eyes giving up on her, being all heavy and hard to stay awake. She fell on the floor with closed eyes, escaping into the darkness.

Her eyes had stayed closed until sunrays forcefully ticking them off to flutter open. The girl woke up on lush grasses, in an open land. She stood up and blinks while taking in her surroundings, asking herself where she is and how she ended up there. But she has no recollection about it. The next thing she does was exploring the place endlessly because as vast as her eye could wander, that's all that she could find there. She walked across the land until her foot stopped in a high grassland plateau, challenging the sunset rays with her empty eyes.

Just then, pair of pale hands silently draped her shoulders from behind, a face comes closer to her from the right side. Startled with the sudden contact, the girl's pupil moved to the corner of her eyes to check who it was.

"What are you doing here? This is a dream, right?" the girl looked down and asks, knowing that it's most likely just a dream for her.

"Can't I just come and see you here, Yena?"

"I have missed you, Yuri-yah..."

She said the words in whisper and breathy voice, tears began to swell up in her eyes before it finally broke down. And Yuri's hand quickly wiped the tears away from Yena's face.

"Please smile for me, Yena," she requested.

Although it's actually hard for Yena, she reluctantly obliged and smiled for her wife.

Seeing Yena's smile, another smile formed from the other girl's lips. "That's my girl," she muttered proudly.

"I have been watching you here as the Moon, that's what Luna is. How you lived, how you struggled through the pain, I watched it all, Yena. I'm sorry for putting you in this situation but... But, you need to know that I'm always here for you..." Yuri added, her finger pointing on Yena's left chest, pointing at where her heart is and continue in small voice, "In here always."

"I know... But–"

Yuri cut across her, realizing her time is up even in this universe. "There are things you should know and remember..."

After saying her last words, Yuri's body started to dissolves and fades away into nothingness, leaving Yena speechless and caused her mind to wander querulously once more.

I wish by God you'd stay...

A/N: Hello, I've been meaning to say this whole chapter is actually what gave life for this sequel. In the beginning (or actually in the prequel for this sequel notice), I have told you guys that a certain song from my random Youtube playlist inspired me and yes, that song is titled "The Second You Sleep" by Saybia. If there's a theme song for this story, it'd definitely be that amazing song so feel free to check that out!

Yuri had become the Moon, leaving Yena with unlimited loneliness. Do you think this is the end? Nope, it's probably 2-3 chapters to end, so, until next update guys!
