A bell rang throughout the house, amber glow tickling outside the window as the sun started to sink lower in the velvety sky. The air has become much cooler, replacing the heat of the day which was draining away. Yena quickly walked across the room, her light steps chirp its way to the door, closely followed by Yuri. They definitely knew who were coming.

The blonde opened the door, revealing two tall figures who stood just outside of their fence. Yujin and Wonyoung had arrived at their house, both with wide smile plastered on their face. Yena quickly letting them in before closing the gate back, while Yuri immediately led the two inside the house.

Once inside, Wonyoung pulled Yuri into a warm embrace in no time which the latter return the favor back. When it's Yujin's turn, she wasn't only hug Yuri tightly but also lifts her up, causing Yena to clear her throat to interrupt them in playful manner.

"Don't worry, I'm taken too," Yujin scoffed, gaining an elbow from Wonyoung in instant and laughter from Yena at the funny sight.

"I missed you two so, so much! But let me make something for us to drink, you must be exhausted from all the trip here," Yuri excused herself, letting Yena to catch up with their guests that evening.

She dragged her feet away to the kitchen until her eyes suddenly opened wide, sick, and hurts... from another dream. The pain came back once again, it feels like something has been burning in her eyes and spinning her head. Bringing both hands covering her face, she screamed at the top of her lungs, losing her soul to the pain which ended up waking Yena up from her cozy sleep at the side of the bed.

Dawn's early light came timidly into their bedroom, Yena hastily bring a glass of water for Yuri to calm her down. She looked at Yuri's face in full attention, taking notice that her eyes, specifically her right eye was in scarlet color even in the tiny dim light. "Sweetheart, your eyes... it's so red..."

"It hurts, Yena..." she could only respond shortly, still dwelling with the pain that her eye caused.

"We'll have to check it to the clinic later, okay?" Yena placed her hand on Yuri's shoulder, speaking in the most reassuring tone in order to calm her down. Seeing Yuri in a situation like this hurts her internally too, but she doesn't want the latter to know about her worry because it will only get worse. The only thing she could do is to stay strong and trying her best to support her love one in every condition.

Yuri who was still in grimace from the pain just nod her head solemnly, agreeing what Yena suggested.

Later at day, they went to a clinic to get Yuri's eyes checked. There were few people queueing to be called to get checked. There was no openness, no space, no freedom in the waiting area as both the girls sitting quietly on remaining chairs that they could find.

The brunette hung her head low, facing the slate grey tiles on the floor as she wait for her turn. There's no way in chance that she and Yena wanted to eavesdrop but they could hear the chattering from the few people there. There was this middle-aged man with presumably his wife and their son seated behind them. They were talking about mysterious thing that has happened within the area lately.

People were missing without a trace.

It was the first time for Yuri and Yena to hear the news so they stayed quiet, keeping their mouth shut tightly while listening to the news in the meantime. Yuri was fiddling with her hands until there was a little girl standing in front of Yena. Upon seeing the girl, Yena offered her soft smile before she brings herself to greet her. "Hi cutie little girl, how old are you?"

The little girl brought her hand, begin to count with her fingers. "Six!" she answered energetically and her mother come picking her up. The mother bowed her head toward Yena which she returned the gesture back.

"Haven't seen you around before, are you new here?" the mother questioned, maybe after having the thought that Yena doesn't look like a Japanese person.

"Yes, I'm quite new here," she paused and pointed her hand at Yuri. "Me and her moved here like around two months ago," Yena told the truth, proud of herself to not being nervous in talking with strangers anymore. She has never thought that she would be living normally like this again before she met Yuri.

But her proud moment was ruined as she heard a tiny gasp from the middle-aged man's wife in the back seat, right after hearing Yena's answer. The man whispered and seriously warned his son not to get close to any of them. It was clear that the boy's parents are having suspicion about them, saying how fitting their timing on moving to the area with the tragedy that has been happening lately.

Yena clenched her fist hard but managed to stop herself not to lose to the temptation to send a jab on the man's way. Luckily, Yuri's name getting called at the perfect time ever, it was her turn to get checked. So Yena excused herself to the little girl and mother before bringing Yuri inside the doctor's office room. The examination room and consultation room are separated, so Yena waited in the consultation room while Yuri getting examined.

The clinic doctor said it was an inflammation that leads to her burning eyes. The doctor suggested for Yuri to treat it with a cold compress later at home, also to wear an eyepatch to reduce the irritation of her sore right eye. Before leaving, Yena asked for a painkiller just in case if Yuri ever suffers from great headache again. Deep inside, she hopes that it will never happen anymore, though.

The rest of the day was quiet or rather dull for the two with all the heat temperature which the sun offered to the world. They went home, treating Yuri's eyes with cold compress as she advised to. Then Yuri just rests on bed while doing so until the house's bell rang, echoing throughout the room. Yuri got up, quickly wearing her eyepatch and made her way to the stairs. She walked downstairs lightly, her pace turned from quick into slow when she realizes something.

Déjà vu.

She looked all around her. The situation, the surrounding, she felt that she somehow already seen it all before. Even the feeling, it was all the same... like what she had in her dream.

Yujin and Wonyoung visited their house and everything happened afterward are the same. That was until to the point when Yuri walked away to the kitchen, the exact moment when her dream was stopped.

A/N: Hey guys, a quick update for you all!

Most of you guessed that Yuri might have some kind of special power which I can't deny. I have been giving the hints on recent chapters but what kind is it? And why Yuri?

Also, uh-oh, there were tragedies that have been happening about the missing people in the area and few people there started being suspicious of Yena and Yuri. Do they actually have some connection to it?

Stay tune for it to be revealed in the future! ;)
