It's been two months since the romp at the houseboat vacation took place.   All Lois and Kitty thought about was each other.

Kitty POV

Kitty is washing dishes as she seems fine while her husband Abe has been back to normal since the houseboat.  He no longer has to do what is beneath him to please anybody.   Kitty on the outside may seem calm and collected, she's furious on the inside.  This makes her miss Lois even more as Abe is more concerned about his own happiness and not other's.  Lois is the only person that Kitty can be herself around.

Abe hasn't been making it easy as he's been going on and on about the things he's able to enjoy again.  If that's not upsetting enough, he's not even talking about involving Kitty whatsoever nor their son Stevie.

Abe:  Off to the course!  Don't wait up, dear.

Kitty:  Again?!  Aren't you gonna at least take your son?

Abe:  I would but the golf course isn't wheelchair accessible.

Kitty:  Maybe you could blow the golf course and do something else, maybe even something we could do as a family.

Abe:  Great idea!

Kitty's facial expression turns into a burst of happiness when she hears those two words.... until Abe says

Abe:  After the game.  The guys aren't gonna wait forever.  See you in a few.

Kitty:  Minutes?  I hope?

Abe:  Hours.  Bye!  (Walks away with golf equipment and sees Stevie)  Bye champ!  (To Stevie)

Stevie:  (Weak lungs)  Bye...... Dad

(To Kitty)  What's... going.... on?

Kitty:  You're father's off to the course again and we're taking a little trip ourselves.

Stevie:  Where?

Kitty:  The lucky aid.  I need a couple of things.

Kitty doesn't really need anything.... but an excuse to see Lois.  Abe leaving was all she needed to go see her.  As they head inside their car, Stevie says:

Stevie:  Maybe.... I'll...... run...... into...... Malcolm!

Kitty:  Right!  Malcolm!  He should be there waiting for his mom!

Kitty with so much anticipation to see Lois hasn't even been thinking about the boys or anyone really.  She was so oblivious to others that she doesn't realize that Malcolm and Reese were being punished by Lois for their actions at the houseboat.   That's also why she hasn't seen Lois in two months.

Kitty:  (Pulling up to lucky aid)  Ok, we are here!

Kitty helps Stevie our of the car and they head into lucky aid.  The first person they see is Malcolm.

Stevie:  Malcolm!

Malcolm:  Hey Stevie!  What's up?  (Sees Kitty)  Oh, hi Mrs. Kenarban.

Kitty:  Hi Malcolm!  Have you seen your mother?

Malcolm:  Oh yeah.  I think she's in register 3.

Kitty:  (Pulling back excitement)  Thank you!  Well I'll be on my way.  Nice seeing you Malcolm.  Stevie, I'll page you when it's time to go.

Kitty takes the most random things she can find and stuffs them into a basket before heading to Lois' register.  She wants to make sure Lois is ringing up as much stuff to give them enough time to chat.   Kitty rushes to the register as Lois finishes with her customer and finally gets to her.

Lois:  (Oblivious that it's Kitty)  Be right with you in just a second!  (Turns)  Oh!  Hi.

Kitty:   Hi!  Sorry, I know it's a lot of stuff.

Lois:  That's alright.  It just gives me more to do and more time to catch up.

Kitty:  It's been a while.. and I haven't stopped thinking about what happened.  It happened so fast.

Lois:  That was something.  I haven't stopped thinking either.  It seems you couldn't get it out of your mind so you came here?

Kitty:  (Nods)  I don't want to wait another 2 months to see you again.  I was wondering if you want to spend some time together?

Lois:  That sounds great.  I think I can squeeze you in.  How about next Friday, I believe Hal and Abe are watching a fight.

Kitty:  I know.  7?

Lois:  Yes.  7 sounds good.  (Handing Kitty her change which Kitty denies)

Kitty:  Keep the change.  I'll see you next week.
