sienna cringed as her phone rang next to her, rolling over on her side and covering her head with her pillow. she smiled, relaxing for a moment as it stopped ringing, only for it to start up again. whoever was calling was not giving up. groaning, sienna sat up and slid the answer button on the screen.

"what do you want?!" sienna demanded, wondering who had the nerve to interrupt her peaceful sleep.

"open your door!" her friend sterling exclaimed from the other end of the line.

"ughhh, do i have to?" sienna asked.

"yup, you're not getting out of this," her other friend devyn chimed in. sienna sighed, hanging up, before she got out of her comfy bed. the second she slid her comforter off, she shivered.

she made her way through her apartment. once she reached the door she unlocked it and pulled it open, revealing her two eager best friends. "uh, good morning?" she said.

"get your ass dressed, si, we're going out and you're going to have fun," devyn stated.

"you've been holed up in here for too long. you need to do something to take your mind off of it. everyone gets dumped at some point, it's time to move on," sterling insisted. what she was referring to was sienna's boyfriend of 3 years, noah, breaking up with her last month.

"you're right. i'll go change."

with sterling driving, they pulled into the parking lot of the closest mall. sienna reluctantly got out, but decided it was going to be a good time.

"let's go to pacsun first," devyn said.

and so they shopped and shopped, each carrying around several bags from different stores as they walked around. eventually sienna found herself sitting outside of the changing rooms in express while her friends tried on what seemed like a million different outfits. "are you guys almost done?" she questioned, bouncing her leg up and down.

"nope!"

sienna groaned, exasperated at her friends.

"say, what if you went and got all of us starbucks, and then we met you somewhere? it would give you something to do," devyn suggested.

"sure, what do you want?"

sienna struggled to carry her many bags along with their drinks.

"hey! do you need help?" someone asked as she almost dropped everything. "here, let me get that for you." the same person said, grabbing the carrier of drinks from her hands.

"thanks," sienna said, becoming silent when she looked up at the attractive boy in front of her. he chuckled at this, grinning.

"i'm jaden."

"i-i'm sienna."

"so what are you doing here all by yourself?" jaden asked.

"i'm not alone, you're here," sienna stated, and he lightly laughed at her comment. "but if you must know, i'm here with my friends."

"well can i be your friend?"

"i just met you though," sienna said. "what if you're like ted bundy or something?"

"i can assure you," another voice chimed in, "jaden's no ted bundy whatsoever."

"even if he looks like one!"

jaden rolled his eyes, which sienna thought might've been the hottest thing she's ever seen.

"this are my dipshit friends, griffin and anthony," jaden stated.

"you know you love us," griffin said winking.

"you wish," jaden joked. "anyways, where are you meeting your friends?"

"right here!" sterling exclaimed.

"wait a second," devyn said sounding shocked. "you're jaden hossler!"

"AND YOU'RE LUVANTHONY!"

"AND YOU'RE GRIFFIN JOHNSON!"

sienna had no clue why her friends were screaming and jumping up and down. "what's gotten into you guys?" she asked, looking the boys up and down.

"ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS RIGHT NOW, SIENNA?!" sterling screamed. sienna nodded with a confused look on her face and continued to stand and watch as her friends asked them for a picture.

"can you take the picture for us?" devyn asked, to which she agreed. after they were satisfied, she handed the girl her phone back.

"do you think we could take a picture together?" jaden asked her. "i wanna brag about you to the boys."

"sure," sienna said, and they took a cute picture where jaden had his arm around her and they both had on goofy smiles.

"well, see you soon," jaden said.

"what do you mean soon?"

"it means, i can't stay away from you for long." jaden said, which made sienna turn bright pink. "what's your instagram?"

"it's siennacox," she stated, her blush still very apparent on her cheeks. "um, i should get going."

as quickly as she turned to leave, jaden grabbed her by the waist and spun her back around, pulling the girl into him.

"don't forget your drinks," he whispered, giving sienna one last squeeze before he let her go and they went their separate ways.

"ha! you look like a tomato," devyn said, as she and sterling laughed at their friend who couldn't seem to wipe the smile off her face.

"you're welcome, by the way."

"for what?"

"making you leave the house so you could meet jaden hottie. duh."

"o-oh. you mean hossler?"

"same thing." sterling stated, nudging her with her elbow.

sienna couldn't stop thinking about jaden. she wondered if he had a single flaw. she wondered if he was pretending to be interested in her, and would end up not even bothering to talk to her again. she wondered why her friends knew who he was. a million thoughts rushed to her head, as she questioned if jaden would end up just like noah. she hoped he wouldn't, because that would break her, and her heart couldn't take that much.
