"WHAT?!" griffin yelled after jaden told him about him hanging out with sienna.

"griff, it's just to catch up."

"no! jaden, i can't stand to let you get hurt again. i know you still have feelings for sienna. and you know she has a boyfriend! you'll just be left in pieces again. i miss the way you used to be. how easygoing you were. now it seems like you can't even relax for a second. i can tell that getting close to anyone anymore scares you. i hate seeing you in this state. i only want the best for you buddy," griffin said.

"i know. but you also know i love her. and if there's even a small chance that i can get her back, i'm taking it."

"alright, but please just try not to get hurt."

"what's the fun in that?"

thursday had finally arrived and jaden was ready. they were meeting each other there and were just gonna walk around and talk. he saw her and waved, and they walked up to each other.

"hey!" sienna greeted him. "how are you?"

"pretty good," jaden said smiling slightly. "how about you?"

"i'm great," sienna said, returning a grin. "i saw you hit 2 mil on tiktok, i'm happy for you!"

"awe thank you!! i'm happy too," jaden stated.

"OH MY GOD, JESSICA LOOK!" some random girl yelled, pointing at the two of them.

"HOLY CRAP, MY SHIP!"

"AHHHH JIENNAAAAAAAA!"

jaden and sienna both blushed at the use of their ship name but pretended it didn't affect them.

"hey girls, what's up?" jaden said.

"HIIIIII JADENNN, HEY SIENNA!" the girls said jumping up and down.

"can we get a picture with you guys please?" the only calm girl asked.

"yeah, of course!"

they asked a random person to take the picture for them and afterwards they gave the girls hugs.

"aren't you and troy dating?" one of the girls asked sienna. the question made her wince, because she wasn't exactly ready to publicly announce that they broke up.

"oh um-," sienna started to say, but became tense upon noticing that they were all looking up at her. "we're actually not together anymore."

"WAIT ARE YOU AND JADEN DATING AGAIN??"

"no!" the two said.

"oh, darn. well it was amazing meeting you guys! love you!"

"we love you too, cuties!" jaden exclaimed, waving goodbye.

"they were nice," sienna stated.

"why didn't you tell me that you and troy broke up?" jaden asked.

"well, because it just happened a couple days ago, and i didn't know how you would take it."

"wait, are you using me to get over him?" jaden asked, a hurt look on his face.

"no way! i actually sorta kinda broke up with him, because i still have feelings for you. also he and i were not meant for each other."

sienna looked down, wondering how she had the confidence to admit the way she felt about him.
