when jaden finally made it to sienna's apartment, he knocked on the door with his palms sweating. she immediately answered, nervously inviting him in. "l-look, jaden," she said, "i wanted to apologize for earlier. i shouldn't have left you hanging, it's just-"

"it's okay," jaden said. "you don't have to explain yourself."

"yes i do," sienna insisted looking him right in the eye. "the thing is... it's hard for me to trust people. and i'm not saying that i don't trust you, it's just that i've been through some shit that leaves you scarred."

jaden nodded, signaling for her to continue.

"what i'm trying to say, jaden, is that if you want to be with me, you're going to have to put up with my fragile ass self."

"don't talk about yourself like that, ever. you're the strongest person i know. yes, that's cheesy but it's the truth."

"yeah right..."

"nope! nuh-uh. it's just the facts, deal with it babe."

"okay fine," sienna gave in. "but jaden... please promise you're not gonna toss me aside. i just feel like-" she sighed. "all boys like you want is to break my heart."

"i would never want that." jaden said. "i want you, even with all your damage. only you. always."
