he walks out

Sometimes you think he's  meant to be in your life

even though the back of your head is pleading you to walk away

you think you have a connection and it's going to be alright,

You pour out your heart and rip the seams, undoing the string

and unbuild the walls you had that surrounded your soul,

You pour and you pour till there's nothing left

One day he walks out,

walks out of your heart,

and restitches the seams, because he never really cared,

One day he closes the door and leaves you planted on the floor

simply because he doesn't need you anymore,

All your screams mean nothing because he's already gone,

he's already locked the door behind him.

You gave and you gave till there was nothing left to give inside you,

and you lay there forgotten...

don't make that mistake if you know whats in the end
