venus blaney!
we went to different stores before finally getting food, there was almost no one around. "hey v. what's going on between you and corbyn?" he questions. "n-nothing." he glances around, "tell me in the car?" i nod, still not sure if i want to tell him.
once we're back in the car i knew i shouldn't tell him yet i do. "so you like him? what about daniel?"
"i just met you guys, i shouldn't be hurt over corbyn and i shouldn't have feelings for either of them. look just don't tell anyone okay?" he nods and turns the radio up to drown the awkwardness.
"we're back!" i smiled at everyone before heading upstairs with my bags with the stuff i got from the mall. "hey v, did you have fun?" i turn around to see jonah standing by my door. "I'm sorry about earlier but jonah you of all people know how fast i fall for people. remember what happened with Eli?" a frown appears on his face as he nods, remembering how i FaceTimed him crying.
"i just don't want to see you hurt." i walk closer to him and wrap my arms around his waist. "I love you jo." he puts his arms around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him, "i love you more v." he kisses my forehead before letting me and leaving my room. jonah has been my rock since the day we met online. i know that he'll always be here when i need him. that's what i like best about him, how caring he is.
for the next few hours i stay in my room, watching YouTube off my phone. "hey venus! we're going to dinner, wanna come?" i think for a second, about to say no when my stomach grumbles. "yeah sure. just let me freshen up." jack nods and leaves my room, shutting the door behind him. i don't do much since i went to the mall today. i change my shirt and reapply most of my makeup. i run a brush through my hair before slipping on my vans and grabbing my purse, running downstairs once i have everything.
"about time." i glare at corbyn who throws his arms up in defense, a playful look in his eyes. he's really just messing with me now isn't he? "oh come on corb. leave the girl alone." she smiles at me before grabbing his hand and following the other boys out to the car. i was sitting in the very back with daniel and jack. daniel had his arm around me while jack was telling us both funny childhood stories he has. corbyn turns around and glances at us, a look of jealousy flashes his eyes before he turns back around and kisses christina's cheek.
now he's just being childish, it's not my fault he led me on. it's not my fault he cheated on his girlfriend and it's definitely not my fault if i don't fall at his feet, begging him to dump his girlfriend. if anything i feel really bad for christina, she seems to really like him and she's really nice. "aand we're here." we get out of the car, jack, daniel and i taking the longest and we were the last row of the car.
"you're sitting next to me venus." i don't argue with daniel and sit next to him with zach on my other side. "what are you getting venus?" i don't bother looking at the menu. i have this restaurant in flordia and i order the same thing everytime. "let me guess. bacon and swiss burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion on the side. fries with ranch?" i smile at jonah, i would always send him a picture whenever i ate there.
"of course." christina asks me a few questions before we all started playing 20 question. and that went on for two hours, all of having fun. like a family.
that is until zach slips up and spills about the kiss.
