SEVENTEEN

venus blaney!

I got up around seven which means i have enough time to take a shower. i had to be at work around nine today, usually i have to be there at eight. after my shower i went downstairs and grabbed a granola bar before getting the car keys and driving off to Atlantic Records.

"hey venus!" i smile at the office ladies, making sure to ask how they are. "see you guys at lunch." i walk past them and towards the actual studios. "hey joe." i go into the lunch room and start making coffee for the artists who are in here early. i make six coffees and finally walk in the recording studios. "hi venus." i smile at the crew and wave to lizzo who was just finishing up.

"where you heading?" i point to the end of the hallway where i had to do paperwork. "good I'm going to walk with you." now if you were in my shoes you would probably be freaking out right now but i grew up with celebrities, my dad used to be a tour manager until he passed away. "what's on your mind? is it boy problems?"
"sadly yes. how'd you know?"

"you got a certain gleam in your eyes. tell me what's wrong?" we leave the recording studio and head the way i needed to go. "there's this boy who i really like and I've liked him ever since i met him and we went on a date yesterday but he never told me he liked me and i did date his best friend." she takes a coffee from me and sips it.

"honey you need to not freak out over some boy. you need to date while you're young." i knew she was right, maybe corbyn didn't like me. maybe i should not worry about him. "you're right, I'll try. this is my stop bye!"
"bye venus. take care!" i head inside the room and find marcus, another assistant. "hey marcus. didn't know you worked today."

"yeah they called me in for paperwork." i sit next to him and hand him a coffee, taking one for myself. "you look great today." i looked at my outfit, i wasn't wearing anything different then i usually wear. "thanks i guess." we work in silence, occasionally taking a break to chat. "I'm hungry, what about you?" i can hear my stomach grumbling so i knew the answer. "yeah let's head to the cafeteria."
