"me? yeah I'm fine. don't worry." we finish the movies then separate, going up to our own rooms. zach followed me to mine, "venus. what happened?"
"corbyn. zach I'm fine though really. I'm just to live life, date people, have fun."

"venus... you deserve so much better then corbyn. date that dylan kid he seems nice." maybe i should give him a chance, it's kinda obvious he likes me.

I looked at the time, it was now five so i had enough time to get ready. i started by taking a quick shower. i got dressed in jeans and a white crop top. i put a jacket on and lightly did my makeup, i definitely wasn't going to go all out. "hey venus just wanted to say go- whoa where are you going?" jonah says as he walks into my room. "out with a friend. I'll be back before midnight don't worry jo."

i grab my purse and say bye to jonah as it's now six thirty. i get into my car and start driving towards the restaurant. once i get here dylan is standing outside the entrance. "hey! we should go in now." he opens the door for me, we walk inside and get a booth. "I'm definitely getting Alfredo, what about you dylan?"

he flips through the menu before stopping on the third page. "the baked spaghetti."
"good choice." we place our orders shortly after that, the waiter smiles at us as he brings our drinks over. "so um not to be rude or anything but why did you invite me to dinner?"
"i really don't know. you're really nice and sweet and we've never hung out outside of work."

"i always thought you didn't want to hang out. you always seem distracted." i take a long sip of my lemonade, "i am or uh i was. not anymore. now I'm care free you know?''
"yeah i understand completely venus." our food arrives and both of us stop talking to dig in. after we eat and dylan pays, which i told him not to but he wouldn't listen to me, i make him stop at a gas station.
