Or so I thought...I stood up and walked towards the little desk in my large new room. I took a seat in the chair, finding it soft and comfortable. I leaned my head back and sighed, " So she lives?" Asked a voice, too deep and unfamiliar.
"Yes, though she will still make the perfect candidate for our new army!" Said another.
"Who's there!" I asked, turning in the chair seeing nothing but darkness, despite the light of the fire, there were unmoving shadows hiding in front of it. My eyes widened, "What the Hell?" They started to move and shift, forming the shape of a large shadowed woman, who wore a soft, sweet, kind, peachy smile. Instead of a normal human smile, she had fangs. Vampiric fangs. Her eyes held a vibrant glow, silver in contrast to the real color, gold.
I stared co fused for a moment, until the door flew open, and the shadow woman vanished into a crevice that no one would look for something like that. I gazed to the door, meeting eyes with Cassandra, whom was halfway to me. Her eyes held two emotions, anger and relief. As soon as she reached me, she tugged me into a tight hug, placing her head in the crook of my neck.
"Cass? Are you alright? I-" I paused, hearing her sob, while hugging me tighter to herself. She simply shook her head. I smiled softly, "how about now?" I asked, wrapping my own arms around her and placing a light kiss to her forehead.
She nodded softly, a tiny smile on her lips. I looked up, meeting face to face with the same female shadow. Her gaze was from many eyes, all the same spot, me. The gaze would change rapidly, as if it wanted Cassandra to leave, I only held her closer than before. It frowned after a moment, 'who are you?' I mouthed.
A long silence filled the room, before Cassandra spoke, "I'm glad your alright, and awake. We needed you, but Solas won't explain how it worked," she smiled again, sadly. She hugged me again, before leaving me alone with the shadowy character.
I looked to them, after the door was closed, "who are you?" I asked it and their eyes shifted upwards, meeting my (e/c) gaze.
"My name is, Felsie. My sister's name is Velsia, she aided the vampireling in another world. Another timeline, tell me child... am I not of your kind?" Asked the shadow woman, calling herself Felsie.
"What is your last name? Are you the dwarf? And one more question; what do you mean by, 'Am I not of your kind?'" I asked softly.
The door was slammed open, revealing Armin, Blaze, and Lexi. Lexi smiled and ran towards me, hugging my leg tightly. Armin ran to me second, and Blaze simply walked. J was taken aback at how he brought himself to hug me tightly, and Armin hugged me to. I picked up Lexi, as I heard a whisper, "we are one of a rare breed, are we not? The dwarf is me, in my actual form, what you see now is not. The both of us may see our own fates, and know how everyone dies and when. Vampires, that is what we are... is it not?" I felt myself tense as a presence was at my waist, "Hey I'm glad your alright!" Felsie said, a smile on her lips.
"Maker same!" Dorian said, hugging me tightly. I watched, in horror, as everyone I knew, who had not arrived earlier, came in and held me close up until it was suffocating me. I breathed slowly, and tried to move, the fear of closed spaces taking me soul. Blaze moved away first, and so did everyone else, not including Lexi. I held her close and sighed softly.
"Thank you guys," I smiled widely.
"Hey, it's what we do," I heard an all too familiar voice breathe.
"Auntie Hawke!" Lexi smiled widely. I looked up, meeting gazes with none other than the Champion of Kirkwall.
"Aren't you dead?" I joked.
"Aren't you?" She said back.
"Touché, Cousin. Let me take a wild guess, we have Hawke, Alistair, and Morigan?" I asked as a joke, but everyone nodded slowly. I sighed, "I'm just gonna never talk again..."
"Eventually you would die," Armin said, softly.
"How long would it take?" I smirked.
He smiled, "still the same old (Y/n) as you were in the beginning," his gaze landed into mine, "You just don't change, do you?"
I smiled softly, "I never knew how or when it was possible..."
