It smelled like salt and something sweet, Simone couldn't explain it. The only sensation she was very aware of was Chris's hands on her hips, guiding her across a hardwood floor with a cloth blindfold around her eyes. Simone had spent the entirety of their plane ride counting the hours. All the windows had been closed the entire ride over and so she spent thirteen hours buzzing about where her surprise honeymoon was located. She thought about Australia, maybe Chris was taking her on an adventure...or Tokyo, she'd always wanted to see Japan...or maybe they were somewhere in Europe and he hired the pilot to fly in circles to throw her off.

"Baby, I wanna see!" She said with some excitement.

"Not yet."  He chuckled, kissing along her neck from behind. The attendants behind them slowly set down the luggage and Simone scrunched her nose.

"This blindfold is itchy." She complained and Chris stopped her. Simone heard him opening up some doors, then the sound of waves crashing against something hard.

"Okay...ready?"

"Yes!"

"This is where we'll be spending the next two weeks. Happy Honeymoon, baby." He took off the blindfold and Simone's eyes were overwhelmed with insanely bright sunshine. Once they adjusted, she saw miles of clear, turquoise water with tropical fish swimming alongside the building she was in. She ran out to the railing that surrounded the porch and realized the building she was standing in was a hut in the middle of the water. The beach was at least an eighth of a mile away.

"Bora Bora?" She asked and Chris nodded. Simone let out a squeal and jumped into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist. "HONEY! I'm so excited, it's so beautiful! THANK YOU!"

"Of course." He grimed, kissing her lips gently.
"Welcome to Bora Bora, Mrs. Evans."

"That flight was hell." She sighed, closing her eyes and letting the salty breeze brush against her skin. Chris just stared at her, brown skin glowing in the sunlight, a beam of light on her cheekbone. "Where's all our stuff?"

"Inside."

"Do you have your phone on you? Wallet?"

"No, why? It's all inside. You want me to go get it for something?"

"Oh no, I just—" Simone reached out and pushed Chris over the edge. He tumbled over the side in his sweat pants and t-shirt, falling into the clear water with a large splash.  When he broke the surface, Simone was cackling. "That was for putting me on a thirteen hour flight without telling me how long it was going to be! I could have brought a book!"

He laughed and pushed some water up towards her, so Simone dodged it. "You're ridiculous." He said. "Surprise honeymoon was your idea!"

"NO! It was a suggestion, you ran with it."

"Oh my god," He laughed, then launched up and grabbed Simone's calf, pulling her into the water.

"CHRISTOPHER!" She yelled when she came up for air, and they had a brief splash fight.

"Sorry, was your phone on you?"

"No it was in my purse and you're the worst." She swam towards him and Chris pulled her in for a deep kiss, then helped her back onto the ledge of their balcony. He sat next to her, peeling off his shirt and ringing it out in front of him before draping it over the edge of the railing to dry out. Simone kissed his shoulder and he took his hand in hers, squeezing it lightly. "Everyone's convinced we're gonna find out we're pregnant a week after we come back from our honeymoon."
