Introduction
Tony had learned about the Companions and Others at a very young age. What with him being a prodigy practically since birth, he learned the Soulmate System, or the SS, at around five or six.
Tony's "companion", was a beautiful Bernese Mountain dog, named Harley. He'd had Harley since birth. A tattoo of Harley's name in black, cursive writing on his left wrist, as to show ownership of his beloved companion. Due to the Soulmate System, Harley should have left Tony, at around twenty years old, only to be replaced with a new companion. Tony's soulmate's companion.
When Tony's twenties, and even thirties flew by with Harley still at his side, he slowly spiraled down to hopelessness. Was Tony's Other dead before they could meet? Was he born without a soulmate? No, he couldn't think like that. And yet, he did. He did for many years to come.
Until, the second of January, 2019. When his companion, Harley, disappeared.
