Chapter Two
2 January, 2019 - 8:42 AM.

It took us a little over two hours to get to the estate - that Peter named Ralph. Just pulling up to the house gives Peter more enthusiasm and excitement.

The exterior of the two story house is well kept, with a nice brick texture, with eight windows on the front. Both the top left, and top right windows have balconies you could walk out onto. Two huge oak trees on either side of the house, with a gravel driveway loop leading to the front of the house. Lining the driveway, are well kept bushes, some with year round flowers growing at the bases. The front door is a dark wood with golden handles, and floor to ceiling windows on either side of the double doors. The whole this is a refreshing change compared to the busy, loud streets of New York.

Before the black SUV is even parked, Peter is out, sprinting to the front door of "Ralph." I tip the driver, adding a little more to remove our bags for us, and make my way to the entrance to unlock the house for Peter to explore.

Immediately as you open the door, there is a dark wooden staircase on the left leading to the second floor, and two doorways on the right wall in the hallway. At the end of the hallway, there is a set of double glass doors leading to the back patio.

In the first door on the right is the large living room. The dark hardwood flooring throughout the entire house make the place feel more modern, and homey. The furniture is a nice, light grey fabric with black trim. Directly across from the doorway, is a wall mounted flat screen TV, with a small gas fireplace underneath with a brick outlining. On the right wall are two windows, both with window sills and cushions. On either side of the TV are two floor to ceiling bookshelves, with some books already present. The left wall is empty, presumably to add pictures to, with a doorway in the middle. The doorway leads to the kitchen and dining area, as there is only an island to separate the two. The dark cabinets and dining furniture and light countertops add a very nice contrast. The wall opposite the doorway has, again, two windows. One in the kitchen area and the other in the dining area. Opposite the kitchen is the second door that was in the hallway. All the walls in the dining area being black for more picture space.

Deciding to explore the house more later, I headed into the hallway and out the back door. The back patio was a nice clean cut stone flooring with a stone railing, and a short staircase on both sides. Leading to a nicely cut lawn with more clean cut stone as a path. Out lining the backyard, were tree like bushes creating a sort of fence. Inside the fence was another oak tree with a sturdy wooden rope swing, that Peter has already found and claimed. Down the left staircase leads to an above ground fire pit, with wooden carved benches, and a tree stump to cut firewood. Down the right staircase leads to a small garden with a beautiful fountain in the center.

Everything looked like something out of a book or fairytale. It was so breathtaking how perfect everything went together. Looking around I haven't seen Harley in a while. I headed back into the house, when I can't find him, I step out the front door. Only to be met with a tan-ish brown horse with a dark nose and mane, with dark stockings, and red halter and leadrope staring right at me.

I feel a tingle on my left wrist, so I look at it, only to be shocked that it changed to the name Archer. Confused, I look back up at the horse, Archer, only to jump back a few feet when I realize the horse was way closer, still staring at me.

It took me a moment to connect the dots, but when they did, I was the happiest man alive. My soulmate was here, in Ireland. This was her companion. Archer is her companion horse. Which means she has Harley.

Archer is my Other's companion.

"You must be Archer."

"Indeed I am."
