"Hey, Mr. Stark? Do you see all of the dust outside?" Peter asked me from the couch, pausing his play time with Wes. Confused, I look out of the window, and sure enough, a trail of dust is blowing in the wind, traveling with great speeds across the field.

"...Yeah, it's coming from the neighbor's house." I reply, slowly making my way to the front door. Opening the front door, I nearly have a heart attack when I find Archer directly on the other side, still staring. Jumping back and holding where my heart would be, I take in a big breath and look at him. "Really? You're still staring at me?" I ask him incredulously.

"Oh, but of course. You left me outside. Do you expect me to sleep out here too?" He asks with sass dripping from his voice. I didn't think about that though, where am I supposed to put him?

The shed!

"Come on, follow me." I say, leading him around the side of the house with a wave of my hand. While I'm out here, I take a glance at the dust trail to see more trails of dust. Seems that our new neighbor is a live stock herder. We'll have to introduce ourselves later. Opening the dark green metal gate, I hold it open for Archer to walk through into the backyard. Making my way over to the shed, I unlock the slide lock, and swing open the double doors. Searching for the light switch on the wall to my right, I finally found it and flip on the light.

Inside looks like a classic wooden shed, with a separate room in the back. It almost looks like the shed was built for a horse, double doors, a space to the side to dress them in horse stuff, a relatively large stack of hay in the other corner. Looks like I've got to study up on horse care and what not. Making a mental note to ask the neighbor for help later.

"I guess this is where I'll keep you until I can get something a little more suitable for you." I say, turning to look at him, only to realise he's staring off to the neighbor's yard. "Hey, you okay Archer? Do you...know them?" I walk over to him, pausing my speech while I hesitantly place my hand on his neck. I don't think I have ever touched a horse before, I don't know what I thought they felt like, but it's not this. Archer is surprisingly soft, his fur or hair- whatever it's called- is very well kept.

"You live so close?" He asks.

"Hm?" I hum back with question.

"You live right next to her. What are the odds. We must introduce you guys, come on!" He says, excitement building in his voice. In one quick motion, Archer lowers his head and scoops me up and over his neck onto his back. Never having riden a horse, my heart starts to beat with fear and uncertainty, and I clutch onto his mane, holding on for dear life. Without warning, he steps back a few steps, slightly rears up, and dashes to the gate, running right through it. Shutting my eyes tight, I can feel every step he takes under me. My body bouncing around like a ragdoll in a washer machine.

In no time, we making our way around the neighbor's yard to an opening in the front fence. The dust from both Archer and the herd of livestock running clogging my nose making me want to sneeze and cough. I continue to hold on for dear life, not daring to keep my eyes open for more than a few seconds at a time.

Just as I finished the herding, and closed the gate, I realise I'm no longer alone in my field. Another set of hooves pounding the ground could be heard a little ways away from the barn. Twisting my body, I face the direction of the sound, but I'm surprise to the fullest when I see my former companion, Archer.

Quickly turning Irving around, we dash off in the direction of my companion, a smile breaking it's way onto my face. He's back already! But why? Slowing Irving, we eventually stop as Archer gallops a little ways past us only to turn around and trot back with great energy. The confused smile never leaving my face as he circles me a few times. Less than a second later I noticed the man sat sloppily upon him.

Confused, I slid off of Irving and made my way over to Archer, who happily trotted closer to me. Grasping the side of his halter, I grabbed the lead rope and tossed it over the back of his neck gently. Tapping the man on the shoulder he slowly revealed his face from Archer's neck.
