"Did your class get out early?" You asked suspicious on how he'd already been waiting for you outside of the school.

"I guess you could say that," he chuckled awkwardly

"Don't tell me you were skipping?" You scolded thinking Peter seemed like a really nice kid.

"No! I'm not skipping, I have a free pass to get out of class whenever I'm needed for my Stark internship!" He reassured, not wanting to make a bad impression on you.

"Woah, you have an internship with the Tony Stark?" Your eyes sparkled with curiosity, you'd always been pretty amazed with that Tony Stark. He was a genius billionaire playboy philanthropist, what   wasn't to love about him?

"Uh yeah!" He responded

"Did you ever get the chance to meet him? Is he just as cool as you'd think he'd be? Have you seen all of his tech-"

"Wow, you really like Tony Stark." Now he seemed curious as to know why.

"Yeah, he's always been one of my role models. He's brilliant! Like I SAID, I want to become a nurse so I'm fascinated by the technology implemented in his heart" You admitted in awe of Iron Man.

"Oh right," Peter answered, a bit down because of the memory of what occurred with Tony Stark. "He's a brave dude. He saved a lot of people Im sure," He almost whispered.

"Yeah.. talking about courage and helping people, did you hear about Spider-man? He saved people from a burning building yesterday!" You said, now in awe of Spider-man.

"Really? Awesome!" Peter put on the best fake amazed face he could manage.

"Definitely. Do you ever think about who he is? Some people say he's a middle aged man, some say he could be our age. Isn't it crazy to just think that we could pass the Spider-man in the school hallways? But we never knew it? It's insane!" You blabbered imagining who it would be.

"Haha.. Yeah." Peter responded.

"Not a big fan?" You asked, noting he didn't seem too excited

"I am! It just must be hard to keep your identity a secret." He said looking straight ahead.

"Yeah, definitely. But it convinces you that he doesn't want the fame or attention, he's just a good person, and I think that's amazing, that he puts himself before others." You smiled at Peter, and he smiled back, looking a little disappointed, but you ignored it.

Peter's POV

It had been so long since I'd heard someone who liked me AND Spider-man. I mean, she was willingly friends with me, yet she also thought Spider-man was a brave, genuine, knight in shinning armor. But of course, the subject of Spiderman was always tough for me. I didn't want to lie to someone I just met but what else was I supposed to do? Oh funny story, I'm him! Can you believe that? It felt like I was already building our friendship on lies but I couldn't come clean.

"This it?" I heard Y/N ask, snapping me from my thoughts as she looked up at the sign that clearly stated; Delmar's.
