2nd POV
So he was courageous.

You were in shock to say the least. In the matter of a few minutes you'd witnessed a robbery, had a gun pointed to your head, and watched Peter beat someone's ass so, it was a lot to process to say the least.

It was the scariest moment of your life. In the moment the man had his gun pointed straight at you, you felt like you disconnected from reality. You were completely frozen, feeling like you were unable to move even if you wanted to. You felt your heartbeat rattle through your body, ringing loudly in your ears. You felt the chilly air from the store air conditioning, settling into your uneven breaths. You saw the look in the mans eyes. You knew he wasn't going to spare you.

Your life flashed before your eyes. Like a compilation of your favorite and least favorite moments through your entire life. You were so sure you weren't going to live.

Then Peter saved you. He risked his life for you and still survived. You owed him everything now. He was the only reason you were breathing at the moment. Even if they were uneven, sharp breaths, you were breathing because of him. You couldn't imagine how it would've felt when the bullet entered your forehead and frankly you didn't want to and didn't have to. All thanks to Peter Parker, your friend of 2 days and now your life savior, you didn't have to. He stepped out of the store with a smile, as he bit into his sandwich.

He looked so.. calm. He could've died! And he's eating a sandwich! He's eating a sandwich and smiling. Like this was any normal day. You were thrown off by his calm behavior. What in the hell was he thinking?

You pulled him into a hug. And squeezed him tighter. It felt so right in that moment to just wrap your arms around him and not let go. He might've been unbothered but you were more than thankful to him.

"My fucking god Peter." You exhaled, finally getting your breathing under control

"Language." He joked.

"You saved my life.. I- Thank you, I owe you-"

"You don't owe me anything Y/N. I wasn't going to stand there and let him kill you. I did what any sensible person would do, which is save you." He whispered, patting your back. "But hey, at least we got some insane bonding time."

Even though you were still feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, he managed to make you crack a smile. "You are something else."

"So are we getting you home or..?"

"Oh right!" You pulled away and tucked a piece if hair behind you ear smiling.

"Not that I didn't like the hug, I like hugs, your hugs are even better too!" He began rambling, not wanting to offend you or give you the wrong impression.

"Thank you?" You chuckled shakily, still processing the events of the last half hour. It was around 4 PM and you led the walk home. To the subway and then to you apartment. Up to this point you'd forgotten you were neighbors. It sort of slipped your mind that you would deal with his injuries and then he'd just walk next door.

You opened the door of your apartment and found your mother wasn't home yet. The usual, being a nurse and all. Sometimes she had travel trips and sometimes she just had to work late. That's one thing you didn't want to deal with being a nurse if you ever became one, which you hoped you would.
