Chapter 6: Luna and Kiara

3rd Person's POV

"What?! A whole family was murdered?!", a man said through the darkness.

"Master, it was again done by the remaining Dark Shizene seven days ago while you were gone... Since then she's not yet making another move. Good for the City... but not to us... We cannot accomplish our plan if she's nowhere to be found...", another man said with a tender voice as he lit up the lamp on the desk in front of him before he sat on the couch.

"Tch! What stupid Shizenes! Didn't they know the prophecy?! It is well-written and explained in Lumear's Black Book of Darkness!", he said angrily.

"Yeah... But the Shizenes were too lazy to read", he said with a slight laugh.

Luna's POV

I went to the Lumear's Fortress that very day. Upon entering, I spotted a purple-haired girl eating joyously on the dining table.

"Kiara! Hurry up! You should be taking a bath right now!", I heard Alecia's voice from the bathroom.

"Coming!", the little girl said after drinking a glass of water. She stood up and was about to walk towards Alecia when she spotted me. She came close to me and looked at me innocently.

"By any chance, are you my Master?", she asked.

I stared at her blankly before I nod.

"Whoah! Really?! This is great! I'm getting out of here, FINALLY! Oh and, you knew my name right? What's yours?", she said, full of excitement.

"Luna... Shizene...", I said coldly looking straight into her purple eyes which completely resembles Nicholas'.

"Kiara! How many times do I--- Luna... You're here... Kiara, take a bath this instance!", she ordered and Kiara came rushing towards the bathroom.

On the other hand, Frederico suddenly appeared beside Alecia.

"Thanks for taking care of her... Now you can go back to the afterlife...", I said and their bodies faded in front of me and disappeared. I just sighed and patiently waited for the kid.

After about an hour, she got out of her room well-dressed and her long and purple hair high-ponytailed.

"Where's Granny Alecia? and Gramps?", she asked, fixing her skirt. "Oh well... Seems they left already... Without saying goodbye?! *sigh*... So, can we go now?",she said... This kid is something!

"No... I still have to test your strength", I said then walked to the vast field in the Fortress... She followed me though.

3rd Person's POV

While the both of them were in the middle of the vast field, Luna made a force field around them, a hundred meter in radius, then fired a black ray to Kiara. She, being not paying attention, was hit and stumbled backwards, hitting a part of the forcefield.

"Never... Let... Your guard down...", Luna said, black flames surrounding her fists. She walked towards the kid who lie weakly on the ground... She was just seven! For goodness' sake!

"Seems Alecia and Frederico didn't teach you that...", Luna said glaring at Kiara and was about to punch her with her fist on fire when Kiara jumped to avoid it. She landed just behind Luna then casted her a dark magic.

Luna fell to her knees then blinked behind Kiara and kicked her, sending her flying and hit the top of the force field.

"I'm sorry Master... But, true enough, Granny and Gramps didn't teach me that... because...", Kiara started talking as black and silver smoke surrounded her and she disappeared. "What they had taught me was to measure the opponent's strength first, as well as her ability and fighting stances... in order to figure out completely what move you'll do next!", Kiara said then suddenly appeared above Luna and everything was covered by a blinding light.

Luna was then carrying Kiara in her arms, unconscious... Bruises and scratches in different parts of their body they got from their fight earlier.

"Nice work little one... But... of all the attacks and magic I acted on you... Why didn't I hear any complain from you? Even if it looked like that I tortured you back there...", Luna said as she laid Kiara on her bed.

Since a Dark Shizene doesn't know about Healing Magic, she healed her like a normal person using herbs.

For the following years inside Lumear's Fortress, they trained and Luna taught her things Alecia and Frederico failed to teach her.

Also, Luna would come out of Lumear's Fortress every now and then to maintain her age in the outside world... though she would always leave a clone to watch over Kiara while she was away.

Then it came to pass 8 days in the outside world and 8 years in Lumear's Fortress.

"Yeeeeessss!!! Finally I'm going--- I mean, we're going out of here!!! First of, I'll go to wander around a forest, Granny was talking about! Then to the beach, just like the painting in my room! Oh, I'm so excited!!! Luna, hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!!!", Kiara screamed like a fangirl, jumping up and down.

"Shut up...", Luna said as she glared at Kiara, fixing her black hooded cape. Kiara stopped immediately then sat on the floor.

"Say, Luna, you said your only goal is to take revenge on your sister... isn't it too... ya'know... uh...", Kiara said, a little nervous.

"Lame?... Don't worry, I'm workin on a bigger goal... That is... for me to keep and for you to find out... ", Luna said coldly then unsealed the door...
