Ten years have passed since I told my mother about my powers. I ended up breaking up with Peter after nine years of dating and I ended up moving into my father school and became the history teacher.

"Morning class." I said as I walked into the room.

"Morning Professor." They said calmly.

"Alright today we are going to talk about the Civil War." I said softly.

"Professor." A voice said.

I turned to see Hank and he sent me a smile.

"Charles needs you." He said softly.

"Hank will be teaching the class. Civil war." I said as I passed him.

I walked to my dad's office and walked inside to see him talking to two guys.

"Alex you remember my daughter, Cas." He said with a smile.

"Cassy? Wow you have gotten bigger."

"That's what happens." I said with a laugh as he hugged me.

"Who is this?"

"My kid brother, Scott."

"Pleasure to meet you Cassandra Xavier's." I said softly.

"Hi." He said softly.

"Scott is joining us." Dad said softly.

"Have they given you a tour yet?" I asked with a smile.

He shook his head no and I led him out.

"This is the kitchen, watch out for jubilee." I said as we passed her.

"Who is the telepath girl?"

"You mean Jean? Jean has been here for about eight years now. She came here after a car accident killed both her parents." I said softly.

He nodded his head and after I showed him to his room.

"So are you single?" He asked with a smile.

"Yes, I just got out of a nine year relationship.... so I don't think I'll be dating anyone anytime soon.... not to mention, I'm one of your teachers." I said as I turned and walked away.

It wasn't long before I was called into my father's office and asked to take over his classes.

"I keep meaning to ask you, what happened between you and Peter?" He asked softly.

"Nine years of dating and Peter still acted like a child.... not to mention I can't wait for him to finally decided to ask me to be his wife." I said as I turned and walked out of his office.

I let out a sigh as I walked to his classroom and started class. When class was over I dismissed everyone to lunch and walked to my room to put on some comfortable clothes. I frowned when I saw the picture of me and Peter on our fifth year anniversary.

I had been so sure that he would propose that day, but four years later we broke up. Breaking up with him was the hardest thing I had ever done, and it broke me to say goodbye. I still check up on him, by calling his mother, but since the break up we haven't spoken.

"Cas come to Cerebro." Dad said through my mind.

I walked to the elevator and after hitting the button I got in and went to the bottom floor.

"You asked to see me." I said as I walked inside.

"Cas meet Moira MacTaggert." Dad said with a smile.

"A pleasure to meet you." I said as I shook her hand.

"Charles speaks highly of you." She said softly.

"So what's going on? Raven what are you doing here?" I asked softly.

"Erik's family was killed." Raven said softly.

"Oh no..... have you found him?"

"I am looking now, but... I'm having trouble." Dad said softly.

"Want me to?"

He nodded his head and I put on the helmet.

"I found him." I said softly.

I got into his mind and he stopped moving.

"Erik... don't freak out, it's me.. Cassy. I am so sorry about you wife and daughter." I said softly.

"Get out of my head." He whispered.

"I feel your pain-"

"You feel nothing! You think, because you can see into my head... ... you know how it feels? You are looking in the wrong place, Cassandra." He growled out.

"What happened to them, it was terribly wrong. But, come back to us. We can help you."

"Help me?"

"Think of your wife, think of your daughter. - What would they have wanted?"

"They would have wanted to live. I tried his way. I tried to be like them. Live like them. But it always ends the same way. They took everything away from me. Now... We'll take everything from them."

"Dad. He's not alone." I said softly.

"Extraordinary." A voice said.

"Oh my god." I whispered.

"Thank you for letting me in." He said calmly.

"Cas. Cassandra, get out! Cassandra?" Dad asked as he grabbed my hand.

"I have never felt power like this before." I whispered through tears.

"Cas. Cas, get out!" Hank ordered

"What's going on? What's happening?" Raven asked softly.

"I think... Someone's taken over Cerebro. - They've taken control of it."

"To do what?"

"To connect." Hank said softly.

"It's always the same. And now all this. No more stones. Not more spears. No more slings. No more swords. No more weapons! No more systems! No more! No more superpowers." The man said calmly.

"Cassandra!"

"Hank!"

"Alex! Destroy it! Destroy everything! Destroy Cerebro! Wreak havoc." Charles ordered.

I felt the machine go off and I fell to the ground. Hank wrapped his arms around me and caught me before I could hit the ground. I let out a sigh as I passed out in his arms. Whenever I woke up I was in a green room and Hank was standing beside me.

"What happen?" I asked softly.

"Erik took Charles and the military kidnapped us." Hank explained.

"Where is Alex?"

He shook his head and I let out a sigh as he helped me up. I looked around and froze as my eyes landed on the one person I didn't expect to see.

"Been awhile MindStrike." He said softly.

"Peter." I said softly.
