Chapter 5

Jennie's PoV

The conference in Busan is starting today. I will be stuck with Manoban, unfortunately. Well, I had no choice since it's the punishment Mr. Yang gave her instead of having her suspended. According to Mr. Yang, we still need Manoban in the upcoming matches.

Manoban is supposed to pick me up at 5:30 and it's already 5:45, she's late. Ugh. Thinking about it, what if she's purposely doing this to annoy me? That little assface.

Flashback

"Okay, we have no choice but to follow what Mr. Yang said," I told her when we went out of the office

"I had no choice but you did. You could've just told him that you don't wanna be with me! Unless..." Lisa said and she looked at me

"Unless of course, you have a crush on me and you want me to be with you," She teased

"Stop being a conceited cockroach, assface! I don't want to be with you!" I replied

"Good then! Then it's a fair play!" Lisa said

Manoban turned her back on me as if she was about to leave. It's unlikely that we'll meet each other after classes since they don't have their training and we're gonna be practicing with the football team. I pulled her back using her bag and she faced me.

"What?!" She sighed

"What what? You're gonna pick me up tomorrow," I told her

"Uhm... No, I'm not," Lisa declared

"Uhm... Yes, you are," I mocked and we just stared at each other for a good 5 seconds before she let out a sigh

"Why don't you just go there in your car?" Lisa asked

"Because it's too much of a hassle," I lied. I can't drive that's why I'm asking her to bring me there

"Is it really though? It's also too much of a hassle for me," Lisa said and she turned her back on me again. I pulled her back.

"Okay fine! I don't know how to drive, okay?" I admitted

Manoban faced me with a grin. She leaned in until she's just a few inches away from my face. Those eyes. She really has such beautiful eyes.

"Plead for it, Kim," She said

"In your face, Manoban," I replied

"Okay, suit yourself," Lisa said and she stepped back

You're so annoying, Lisa! I let out a sigh before I smiled at her.

"Please? Please pick me up for the conference tomorrow?" I asked her with my baby voice

I saw how she was caught by my baby antics. She was surprised. Hm... Didn't know that I can be cuter than I am?

"Based on your reaction, I'll take that as a yes," I said with my normal voice

"I'll text you my address and what time you have to be there," I told her since she's still frozen

I walked passed her but I stopped when we were side by side. I tiptoed and whispered something.

"You're drooling," I stated before walking by

Thinking about it. It makes me smile. Who thought about me making Lisa Manoban frozen on her tracks?! After a few more minutes, a car stopped in front of me. I've been standing in front of our house for 20 minutes! Lisa rolled her window down to show me that it's her. I loaded my stuff in her car alone. I went into the passenger's seat.
