Chapter 13

Jennie's PoV

We are in Jisoo's place. We are just talking since we can't really drink because we have school tomorrow. It's 1:30 am and I still haven't received any text message from Lisa. It's making me worried. I was about to call her but what if she's sleeping or she's busy? I was startled when I received a Facetime call. I let it ring for a few seconds so she won't notice that I'm actually waiting for her assface to call.

"What's up, my future wife?" Lisa greeted with a smile

I frowned when I saw that it's evident that she's tired but she still called me. Sometimes, I feel bad that she's doing these things that make my heart flutter but those things aren't necessary for me to actually like her. I already do.

"Where have you been?" I asked

Our friends looked at me and they squeezed themselves so that we can fit in the frame of the camera.

"Oh! Lisa-yah! You look like shit!" Bambam exclaimed

"You look like you just got out from good sex!" Jisoo said that made my blood boil. Is Lisa going behind my back?

"Don't you dare play with my friend's feelings, Lisa!" Irene warned

"Okay, Jisoo. Now would be the right time to shut your mouth up," Lisa told her

"And I'm not cheating on Jennie--" Lisa was cut off by Ten

"Right, how can you if there's no relationship?" Ten asked

"Exactly!" Lisa replied and her friends laughed

"I'm kidding, wifey! Don't just crease your brows there! I'm not cheating on you, alright?" Lisa assured and I nodded

"So where have you been?" Seulgi asked

"I was helping a friend out and things got a little heavy," Lisa replied

What kind of help was that for her to be this exhausted?

"Talk to your belle. She's been sulking the whole night, Manoban," Bambam said

"Wait, wifey. Can you give the phone to Bambam and Ten first?" I did what Lisa wanted

Bambam and Ten were the only ones in the frame and they were smiling at Lisa.

"Yah! Why?" Bambam asked

"You will not be sleeping in the same room as the girls," Lisa straightforwardly said

"Especially not with Jennie," Lisa continued talking

"Sweet," Chaeyoung, who is beside me, whispered

Yeah. Lisa's protective as fuck. That makes her ten times hotter in my eyes but there are times when her protectiveness is not needed but it's still there.

"Yes, boss. We know who to touch and who can't we touch," Ten replied

"You're not allowed to touch anyone in that room, boys," Lisa stated in her authoritative voice

"No need to be protective, Lisa! We're friends! We won't be doing something stupid," Bambam chuckled

"You're not you when you're under the influence of alcohol," Lisa responded

I grabbed the phone from Bambam's hand and I went to the dining room since nobody's there. I just want to have alone time with my suitor.

"There will be no alcohol, Manoban," I told her

"That's good then," Lisa said

There was a moment of silence but it wasn't awkward. I was just admiring her brown eyes, her nose, her kissable lips. Everything about her.
